Did my garage roof 3 years ago, took me all summer. Had ta take the shingles up 3 at a time, Doc told me I should not be liftin that much. WM

Haw, I can take 5 or 6, take them to the top of the ladder and toss them up, some stick on the peak. Grin  The ones that slide down the same side I toss over again, the ones that slide down the other side, I crawl over the fence and tote them back. Roll Eyes

I thought about cutting the cap on the ground, but then they are to short to stick on the peak.  If you nail short 2X4's to the roof they help keep yer but in place. Roll Eyes

G'Mornin'. Happy Button Day, y'all.

Fog/Mist. 65° 'n 97%. A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80°. Southwest wind between 10 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Nice 'n gloomy – like that. But thinkin' I could be Glockin' indoors downtown stead of S&Win' doin' the OFSDAR thingy outdoors in the radar trap otherwise known as the metropolis of Waverly.

Always thought the joy of roofin' was luggin' bundles of shingles up the ladder.

School function yestitty eve it the steak house. Got ta meet few of the fat lady's kids 'n a couple of the teachers she mentions. Had an appetizer of fried pickles. That was different.

Del. Congrats on the completion of the shingling. I am dog sitting for the next two weeks. My god dog is visiting. I took him and Victoria to the park today for a romp. The Moose is leaving tomorrow for a week in Atlanta. I've got to go to the grocery store for provisions enough till Moose gets home. I can always get take-out if I get tired od my cooking. You guys were talking about Ford Rancheros, I inherited 3 when my mother passed away a couple of years ago. I am the proud owner of 2 57s and a 59. They are stored in my shop building in Dumas. When I win the Lottery, I will have enough money to restore them and find a 58 to complete the set. They only made half as many in 58 as they did in 57 and 59.  I haven't given up on finding a 58. It's been in the 70s this week, it's cloudy and smells like rain. No clue for supper tonight.

Aint as crooked as it looks in the pitcher, thing is perty sturdy an solid.  Lil has wanted one a these ferever an a day.  Would like ta meet the fella that packaged it with the half page of worthless assembly instructions.  I would like to re write em startin with tellin folks ta throw the little tools that come in the hardware pack at the first person that bugs ya an grab a decent set a sockets.  (Don' worry, them little tools won't hurt no one).

I don't speak the language that said where it was from.  Lil cut the tag off right away so I'll never know.  When I took the pic the canopy was on a different notch on one side than the other.  Tweeked every thing an checked the bolts so it should be smooth sailin.  Thanks fer the kind words Miz Letty.

G'Mornin' from a kindah damp lower right hand corner, y'all.

Fog/Mist. 51° 'n 92%. Rain likely, mainly before noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 42° by 5pm. North wind between 11 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

That's fer Waverly. Yestitty it noon t'was partly cloudy 'n 74°. One place er 'nother I'm shootin' sumthin' er wreckin' the station wagon on the way.

The last cheap stuff I bought was so cheap ya didn't get enny tools with it. Didn't get all the fasteners ya wuz supposed ta either. Did get a couple nice allen wrenches with bar stools I got fer the kitchen.

Had a SKS for a while as a cheap pick-up gun back in the 90's.  (Paid $69 new)  Owners manual badly traslated said not to get unire or fecal matter on the gun.  Was good to know.
