My $20 pork loin got tossed in the freezer last Friday to set anf got busy and didn't get to it.  I let it thaw a bit and cut it, made inch thick boneless chops.  Got 7 for supper tammara when Rita's friend is gonna be here, got 3 more zip bages with 4 apiece, one with two and about 3/4 or so of end pieces.  Gonna try somethin' with it, gonna shave it and make some sort of cheese steak out of it. You won't regret it.  Ours is technically on loan from someone who hasn't used it in a year.  We will return once this harvest is over or the lady wants it back.  I had ta fix it so at least she can use it once it gets back ta her.  Tip, don't store the cord inside the lid, it wrecks the seal.  If ya get a used one that has been stored that way, pull the gasket out and flip it over, works fine.

It runs!! Grin  New Delco battery with a 6 year warranty, didn't notice the condition of the tray when I pulled the old one out. Now I know what the bungees was for Roll Eyes Shocked  One of them disintegrated when I tried to put it back on, so I'll have to put another in there when I bring it down to fix the tail lights prior to getting it into indoor storage this year.......... It's just the old motor home, Miz Letty. We had to let it sit all summer this year, no camping Cry

I've got to get the aux. batteries charged up some. They look much newer than the main was. The generator didn't want to start, it turned over, just wouldn't fire up. When I get it down here to get the tail lights replaced, I'll throw the charger on 'em. Need an adapter to hook the inverter into the house power yet. Just haven't had it long enough to get all the trappings together to do things with it here. Used one season then parked it for winter and wasn't able to do anything until now. It's a '90, still fairly low mileage for the year, 48,000+. Biggest engine I've ever owned, 454. It's GM, which I don't care that much for, but the price was affordable at that time. 28ft., air, fridge, four burner stove plus oven, micro, and a furnace with ducted runs. Bookoo storage underneath............... Roll Eyes Wink

It got up to 90 today, with a lot of humidity. Leo, It looks like Angel is trying to catch a fish in the creek. I am planning on doing some slow cooker recipes when it gets cooler this fall. Victoria "pointed" on a dove in the back yard yesterday morning. I didn't get to take a picture of her doing it. Supper is a big question mark for tonight. I had to change batteries on both trucks last year. I have had good luck with DieHards for many years. Five years is about tops for the original batteries.

Can't remember which makes which, but there are only 2 or 3 companies that make car batteries and the just slap what label they sell under on them.

Went ta the range yesterday. The Walker cylinder would not turn on half cock for loading so took out the cly loaded it put it back in, shot it. When I got home took it apart, had a couple expended caps inside the works holdin that little thingy that drops down and lets the cyl turn and was keepin it from dropin down. Not a hard fix. Gettin the hammer spring back in required some fiddlin but I gotter. I really like shootin that there gun.  Grin WM

Here's one for you WM: Grin

Got out of work last night, had two calls, same #, 1 voicemail, collect call from our local jail, wantin' me to accept charges. Huh

Couldn't figure out who it could be, called a friend who let his adult son that has been a problem move in.  Not, he was home, so he didn't kill the boy.

Called Rita to see if her and Peg had got into a bar fight at their dart league, nope.  Got one again this mornin', missed it, called back in about 5, got the whole message, some body speakin' Spanish.  Hit the don't call me again button.
