Moanin' all. Thanks for the coffee, WM Wink

That chair's pretty neat, Del. Any maker's marks on it? Should be under the seat, if any. Carving is pretty neat, too bad about the crack in the splat. Might be a doozey to deal with and not mess up the carving, though Roll Eyes

57 and partly cloudy here. Looking at upper 70's, they say, then possibility of rain Roll Eyes

Light Drizzle Fog/Mist. 71° 'n 94%. Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 78. Southeast wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Good news! The humidity is lower than it was twenty four hours ago, again. Alright.

Was lookin' it y'all's projects 'n such. Thinkin' I need sumthin' ta do. Realized I was outta ammo. Sumthin' ta get to.

Been busy today, after church started laundry, mowed the yard, and then got the battery out of the MH. It was flatter than flat. thought for awhile it was a gonner. Pulling about 11 or 12 amps now, down from 15. Did I mention that I hate side terminal batterys? Had to take Channel Locks to the positive one to get it loose, stripped head Angry. The Neg. was fine, 5/16ths wrench and it came loose no problem. Had a real high tech hold down in there, two dang bungee cords. Since this one was so flat, I can imagine the other two aux.'s are that far gone, too. At least I have a battery charger now......Buck Roll Eyes Undecided

Side terminal batteries is a good reason not to buy General Motors, last one I had, a Buick Skylark I paid $500 for got it's ends and battery changed to one not designed by a Commie Pinko.  Oh Buck, BTW I hate them also. Grin

Thanks for te coffee, WM Wink

Unfortunately, the battery didn't survive. It got down to about 10amp draw, checked this morning when I took the dog's out and it pegged at 15amp. Since I don't know how old it is, no date marks/labels that I can read other than a bar code, not sure if the winter got it( froze), or it died from old age Sad Online price check last night wasn't cheap in my estimation,$87 to $97 for a replacement. This one was an AutoZone brand( Duralast), the 2 year warranty one( red &black). Going to check with Federated today and see what they're asking. At least I've got a charger now, plus I found some posts for charging s/t battery's, just screw them in and hook the charger up, much easier than trying to use the screws from the cables......Buck Roll Eyes Undecided

Mornin'.

Mostly Cloudy. 72° 'n 94%. A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. Calm wind becoming south between 4 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Remembered ah way ta sleep later. Stay up way past midnight messin' with football.

Don't remember messin' with many side term batteries when I was doin' the NAPA thing. Have heard folks what have the clearance'll replace 'em with somethin' else what'd fit in the battery box. Know we had copper tubes with a flattened area cut with a slot to slide o'er the bolts for jumpin' 'n chargin'. A Belknap item if memory serves.

Mornin All.

The side terminals are a pain.  Apparently the reverse engineering increases the price.  If ain't broke, fix 'til it is.

WM, I wasn't due fer a shower fer at least another month, she may a done it on purpose.

Ya all have a good 'un.

Needed some things my Ace Hardware don't have, hit a Tru Value near work I've never been to before to see.  Got the steel slot-headed wood  screws I needed for my project, plated, but an easy fix. Grin

Wandered around and took mental notes, they have slot-headed machine screws also and the square nuts, plus real bottle corks. Cheesy
