Thanks for the Cawfee this morning. It feels like a 2 pot morning. The $3.35 is the cheapest that I have found around here, it's 85 ethanol. It's 85 outside right now and very muggy. It's still dry, a 40% chance for tomorrow. It would be worth getting wet at the AirShow tomorrow.

Had a storm with rain and high winds go thru around 9 AM. I was on the way ta verk. I stayed under Graffiti bridge for 10 minutes until I could see enough to get to verk. Lots of trees down. 5 minutes after I got to verk, the power went out. It didn't come back on until 1:45 PM. Finished out the verk day at 4:30 PM and went home. Got a busy signal calling the home phone all day. The family is safe but the place is a mess. Don't know the number of trees down. Only building damage is a hole in the garage roof and broken window. The better-half and BIL set up a temp fence for the horses 'cuz of all the trees on the fence. Power at the house came back on at 6 PM. Phone and Internet come on after 10 PM. Be spending the Labor Day weekend cleaning up.  Pics to follow. Raining again.

Got hit by a quick, small nasty on the way home last night.  Was blowin', rainin' and hailin' so hard I got in the wrong lane and was headed the wrong way.  No place to safely pull over and was following the tail lights in front of me.  at least in only lasted about 5 minutes or I might have ended up in Grand Island.

They are saying it was straight line winds. There is more wide-spread tree damage with this storm than I have seen in tornados.
