Hello all!

I've got a chance to buy a Springfield Navy Rolling Block with a very nice bore.  Does anyone have any recent knowledge of what they should be worth?  You don't see a lot of them come up so it's hard to get a market value.  (Yes, I know it's hard to say without seeing it, but I just need a ballpark figure.  It's not mint by any means, but a real honest rifle with a very nice bore.  All original.)

I gave $500 for my NYS rifle. You should be able to afford $3000 for your carbine. Wink Roll Eyes

Rifle or carbine?  If rifle, does it still have bayonet lug?  If it has lug, has it been modified?  Also, some had rear sight right at receiver due to production glitch. Got pics?

It's a rifle, the lug has not been modified, and the sight is NOT right at the receiver.  This one should have been from the second batch, from what I've read.  Sorry, I don't have any pictures.
