Slim if that horse isn't pregnant it has serious hay belly going on! Nice shot.

Arcey, all the rocket scientists were out during the storm.

Andy Fox did another good one he was broadcasting from a hotel room at duh Beach and said I may not be able to get this door open from the force of the wind against it, but he wanted everyone to see the surf crashing on the beach. He acted like he was having a hard time opening the door the camera man panned out to the surf and when he panned back ole Andy is talking into his mike and he's not holding the door anymore and it is staying open fine.

Thanks for the Cawfee bro. WM.  The limbs we lost last week in the front yard were about 6 inches(ID) and about 6 ft long. They broke in half when they hit the sidewalk. It made it a lot easier to drag them to the back driveway. My oak trees are about 300 years old. They are about 50 ft tall and the size of a 55 gal oil drum around. The old elm tree's branch is in one piece. I've got a Black and Decker "Gator" to cut it up for firewood. The limb is in a corner of the backyard that is covered by a hedge. It can wait until the weather gets cooler.

Mornin'.

It's a new day. Two dozen of 'em 'til fall.

The werk crew's next door goin' it the tree what's partially on my house. They're kinda loud. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Talked ta the fella runnin' the crew. Said they had the easy part done. They got the small stuff off my roof. Thinkin' mine is ok.

Bob's had three tree folks look at his. Cheapest estimate is $2,500.00.

Leo, I sold the last rental a couple years ago. Feds took a big bite out of equities.

Fox is ok with me, cuzzin. When the thumb tacks wrecked the bi-sickle-ists in Pungo 'n they was cryin' ta the newspaper that drivers were mean to 'em 'n they always stayed in single file as close to the right as they can get, Fox went out in an unmarked SUV with a camera man. They were, as always, blockin' the whole lane. The puss-gutted ole man from Fat Frogs did some stammerin' 'n stutterin' when they played the tape for 'im.

Hey.

Was out front fiddlin' with the debris in the yard. Older couple walks by with a dog 'n spoke. Walked out ta be friendly. Fella noticed the case tumbler in the garage 'n asked if I was a loader. Struck up a conversation. They're from upstate NY 'n he's a shooter. Said he got too old ta be runnin' 'round in matches so he just mostly plinks around now. They're down this way watchin' their son's place while he's out of town. Told 'im I hadda pard in Staatsberg but he wasn't familiar with it. Hell, they's places in Virginia I ain't all that familiar with neither.

As a side note; I took the long way 'round ta the hardware taday. We were blessed this time. Didn't see much damage. A couple signs blown out. Debris everywhere. Busted/downed tree here 'n there. Power company sez everyone should be back online by Friday. That sounds bad but in Isabel's aftermath they said sometime within the next two weeks.

Thanks for the Cawfee, Bro. WM.  I am glad that things are getting back together on the east coast. We got a tease of rain yesterday morning. It was enough to perk up the St. Augustine in the front yard. We've got a couple of 30% days and 40% on Sat. Any moisture will be appreciated.

Thanks fer the coffee, WM.

'Tis 51 and overcast. "Mostly cloudy. A chance of sprinkles...mainly in the afternoon. Highs 75 to 80. Light and variable wind becoming south at 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon." 50% chance of rain tonight. We need rain. The sand country gets dry if it doesn't rain every couple days.
