Weather is here, wish you were beautiful. (any ladies are excluded from that).  68 on the deck an no rain in sight.  Honestly I wish I could have ya all over for a cook out.

Texas guys were gettin ready to mess with that burnin tanker an jus' bafore they started the fire went out on it's own self.  Dang thing was empty an they got no idea why, shoulda burned fer 2 weeks if tap weren't in.  Paper work says it had jus' been filled.  I'm givin this one ta the Man upstairs with no question.

Leo, We got a couple of fire outfits out of Houston,   Red Adair( the subject of the Duke's movie "The Hellfighters")  and Boots and Coots. These folks know their business on putting out those types of fires. They operate in the US and worldwide. They put out the oilwell fires in Iraq and Kuwauit.

Damned if we didn't have a blast at the range, all seven of us. Got there, took off the Glock, put on the Smith. Picked up a box of ammo 'n my ear muffs, shootin' glasses 'n I was ready. No gun cart, no four guns, no costume, just plinkin' with some pards. Shot inna ball cap, tee shirt, jeans 'n Crocs.

Got warm but I walked thru it anyhow so it weren't but so bad. A fine time. Bad traffic when I got back close ta duh beach, smoke in Chesapeake from the swamp fire looked like dirty fog. Still got back here 'fore 1630 'n made three stops on the way. We're gonna do it again the fourth Thursday in September if nothing keeps us from it.

Happy ta hear the propane crisis is over. That coulda been nasty..................................

Thanks for the Cawfee this morning.  The weather folks are sounding like this new tropical storm is going to hit the east coast purdy hard. Prayers up to folks livin' on the east coast. All we got to deal with out here is heat and no rain. I am going to start a second pot in a few minutes, I feel thirsty this morning.

Weather...................... Ain't lookin' good for the lower right hand corner. She 'n I have a couple things keepin' us in the area 'til late mornin' then I'm killin' the main circuit breaker 'n we're leavin' for a couple days. Whatever's gonna happen to the house is gonna happen whether we're here or not.
