To hot for coffee now, gettin some good old Southern Sweet Tea together to quench your thirst, nad some regular iced tea for those of us that can't have sugar.

Got the Horse trailer inspected this morning, everything passed, saved myself a few bucks by testing yesterday and replacing a burned out bulb. Off to the doctor in a couple of hours.

Can ya have peaches?  We skip the sugar an use fresh peaches in the tea, just as good.  Not the canned stuff with the syrup.

Got a good fast building squall line forming south of us, looks nasty but headed away.

Found out the lectricity problem that took so many out, guess the storm pucked up a luminum framed trampoline and tossed it into some power lines.

Unsweetened, decaffeinated Lipton. Rather have Luzianne but she bough Lipton this time. Done it inna Mr. Coffee tea maker. Boilt but ice cold when it's done. Them things is cheap 'n werk likka champ.

Did the steak 'n smothered the thing in mushrooms. Sliced 'n boiled two fist sized red taters then put 'em onna cookie sheet, sprinkled 'em easy with red pepper flakes 'n mexican blend shredded cheese.  Stuck 'em in the oven with the beef when it had ten minutes left ta cook. Lettuce-less salad with maters, cucumbers, celery, yellow banana pepper rings, dill pickle slices 'n green olives drownt in Italian dressin'.

Took in the flag at 2000 hours. It was still 85 out. I'm done.

'Tis 58 and clear. Lots of stars last night. "Partly sunny with a chance of showers. Highs 74 to 79. West wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent." Less humidity.

We got an early start this morning on doing some yard work. We worked till about 1130. The new yard guy hasn't got here yet to mow today.  We had turkey and swiss sammiches for lunch. It's supposed to be 108 today. No rain in sight. Moose is at school working on her new room. I found another fan the garage. I cleaned it up for her to take to school. Victoria and I are taking it easy inside. We're geetin' before sun up tomorrow to finish the yard.

Arcey
Just remember every day closer to fall is less time to leave the flag out.  I’ve been bringing mine in about 1800-1900, but we have these high rock outcroppings call the Sierra Nevada.  They tend to block late evening sun.  Thinking about low voltage floods to keep it lit 24/7.

Hey, Russ.

Mine doesn't fly every day. We, as in all of us, lost some SEALs the other day. I mourn the loss of any of our service members but this hit close to home, they were based here. It's been flyin' half staff waitin' for their remains to be returned to American soil. I've been takin' it in at 2000 hours EDT. Sunset today was 2002 hours on the coast.
