Truth is if I she folks in their late 20's or early 30's only I seldom stop, they have nothing I want.  I see folks 50's or older I do.  Pretty much doesn't fail. Grin

Can't do yard sales. Too many wimmen 'round 'em. They get tunnel vision soon's they see one – while they're still drivin'.  Dangerous.

Do enjoy the thrift shops. More neat stuff in there. Ain't bought a new pair of jeans since I first stepped inta one lookin' for sunthin' else. Don't intend to. Ya walk out feelin' like ya stole sumthin'.

We had a thrift store that had a Big and Tall section. When I was a detective, I bought several sport coats and suits over there. I haven't been over there in a long time.

Thanks for the Cawfee this mornin'. It's too hot to drink anymore this morning, I'm switching to iced tea instead. I got out early and cleaned up an old fan that was in the garage for Moose to take to school next week. They can only work from 0630 to 1030 before the building gets too hot. I did some adjusting on the sail shade to finish covering over the patio door. I think it helped some yesterday afternoon. I have started a fund for one of those Sun Setter awnings that they advertise on TV. I should have enough money saved up by the first part of May.  It's supposed to be somewhere between 106 and 108.(temp not heat index). I came in about 1030 this morning, after about 4 hours in the heat.

I hit the thrift stores on Mon-Wed on the way to work if I have time. Grin

Neighborhood looks like an F-0 or small F-1 went through it, got hit by a T-storm last night, we ain't got any damage bur there's cars smashed by trees, power was out for 4 hours, most of it was the south half of town, our area got hit the worst.  Met a lot of neighbors last night, seem to be good folks.  Young guys arcoss the street cleared my drive of a big oak limb.

Rita was talking to another one we hadn't met yet, offered to cut the stuff up, but another one wanted already for the oak fire wood.  He said something about a neighborhood party in late Sept.
