Mornin all,

Well the winds blowing a different direction this morning, seems like folks west of us in SE VA will have to put up with the smoke.  Not too bad this AM 71 out, supposed to get back into the 90's again by Sunday. I guess we need one more blast of heat so we can appreciate Fall when it arrives.

Leo, I am glad you got a good night sleep. As you get older, it becomes harder to get a good night's sleep. The aches and pains add up. I got new tags for my gold truck this morning. I pulled into the driveway, under our huge pecan tree and put them on. It was still hot, even the shade.

Why I went out ta the barn 'n dug out a stash of factory stuff ta load .38 Specials fer 'Tooth's l'il ICORE thingy next Thursday. Box has notes scribbled on it from what I used out it, dated 2003. I gotta DA revolver er six if ya wanna borrow one 'n go. Gonna use my former service revolver.

Folks, reckon I didn't fully realize how bad they're gettin' the smoke from the swamp west 'n south ah here. Saw it on local news this evenin' while the fat lady 'n me were o'er eatin'. That crap is thick as a London fog where I ain't.

May or may not be on before I leave in the morning for Summerfield Kansas.  Gonna have fun, the town only has 150 people in it, expecting 300-400 to show up.

Good morning and Thanks for the Cawfee. I went by the indoor range yesterday and picked up a Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant rifle that bought off Auction Arms for $59. I've ordered some stripper clips and some light military ammo for it. It's already 88 and the sun ain't even up yet. Del, I know you will have fun in Kansas doing the cooking demos.

It looks like a New York City Subway.

Give it a couple weeks 'n this'll be more like it.

That was taken this mornin' too from a different boardin' station. Note the ole boy on the left wearin' the 'uniform' I refer to occasionally. Ennyways, the new'll wear off 'n the riders'll go *poof*. BTW, just ta get it where it is it cost $43 million a mile in tax money.
