 I just put on a second pot and it should be ready by the first one is drank. I haven't been outside, but I know it is cooler this morning. It ws supposed to be in the 70s lazst night. Moose has her annual pep rally for the beginning of school(38th). Lots of A/C time for Victoria and I today. Corn Flakes with sliced bananas and toast for breakfast, A roast beef/swiss sammich for lunch and no clue fore supper.

Had the prettiest rain o'ernight. Temps dropped. An even 70 right now, 93% humidity. Maybe that'll help with the fire in the swamp.

Got some time 'fore school starts o'er this way. Just got ready ta be right angry. Thought the fat lady had tossed sumthin' on the sink on top oneah my white knives. Then I saw I'd already washed 'n sheathed it. But, like fall, the time will come.

It's 96 right now, we get at least another 5 or 6 degrees higher before 1700. Roast beef/swiss cheese sammichs for lunch. More A/C time for Victoria and I today.  Potluck for supper tonight.

I simmered a pot of pinto beans yesterday and had them for supper. I had a variety of condiments for them,  onions, japalenos, hot chow chow, and chili powder. Moose fixed some corn bread to go with the beans. We got a sprinkle tonight, but not anything serious. I'll get a pot of Cawfee ready for the fire this morning.

The Cawfee is good this morning. It got up to 103 by 1700 last night. It should be about the same for today. The rain perked up the yards, but we need a lot more.  Time will tell.
