The plant in the picture is whats called a mosquito plant.  They smell funky but they work just fine.  Little buggers don't want ta come any where around em.  Afore we got em the pond kept em in business, now they don't come.  Skeeter hawks packed up an moved along with em.

Gonna make baked 'fries' outta a variety of veggies ta go with the fish.  Them sweet taters will have the starrin role in the mix.  Just woke up from a little lay down so I am fit ta fight.

I woke up about 0430 to the sound of rain and thunder.  The pigs haven't received clearance from D/FW airport to take off this morning. Hopefully we will see them fly after the sun comes up this morning. It is greatly welcomed to our yards and plants.  Thanks for the Cawfee this morning.

Thought about doin' sumthin' in memory but the range was holdin' a big trap & skeet match on our day. They didn't need ta hear us bangin' steel. The owners have bent o'er backwerds ta keep us happy since we've been there so we canceled. Ain't sure it weren't a bad day ta skip weather wise.

I wrote a stage for the September shoot past. 'Sleep tryin' ta get away from the bad guys. Brought a tear from some the shooters.

In no way am I minimizin' the loss of any pard anywhere. But some we've lost right here in the past few years don't even seem real.....

Damn......... Still have it in the e-mail file..........

Stage 6

For this shoot, this the The Tensleep Sweep. Wanna make it a fact to be known from now on for the Pungo Posse, let it be known now. Holler LOUD if ya hear me. I wanna hear “HELL YEAH!”

1-1-1-2-2-3-3-4-4-4 (triple tap the outters ‘n double tap the inners)

Yer pard, Tensleep rode in from Lost River ta take the charity money ta Cajun Saddle Tramp’s home for widows, orphrans ‘n wayward girls. Just as he sits ole Buck ya see the money smellin’ Olivers ridin’ in. Ain’t much ya can do but stand in the street ‘n try’n slow ‘em up while ‘Sleep tries ta get away.

(Move table to centerline)

The Tensleep Sweep: Shooter starts behind table. Wild rag in one hand and the other hand’s thumb hooked in the gunbelt. When ready, shooter enthusiastically waves the rag over head and shouts, with feeling and emotion, “Ride, ‘Sleep! Ride!” On the signal, put the rag on the table, pull the pistols, previously loaded per SASS rules and holstered and per category engage the white targets as described above. Holster pistols HDFC and grab the rifle from the table. With the rifle engage the black targets in the same order and in the same direction as the pistol. Make rifle safe and return to the table. Grab the AOE s/gun from the table and loading as necessary per SASS rules engage the s/gun targets until down.

End of stage, follow RO’s directions

Roo I think he would be happier with some Zebra hide. I can just see Del walkin in with a Zebra skin Top Hat!

Tensleep was family, he always treated paople the way he would want to be treated, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to a pard.
