The gun, yes.
The foul mouth? Nope. ;)

Vaughn Truman fixed it for me for a really great price.

I'm curious about the cause of the problem and the solution.  Were there burrs? Did he lighten the spring?

From what Vaughn told me it was the lever was on a little crooked and the spring was not working like it should. He made some adjustments to it and fitted it back and it works great now. Smooth. Reliable. Still stiff enough to hold the gun shut during shooting, but smooth enough that I can open it and eject the spent brass without needing the jaws of life to do so.

WM. Yeah, I'm working on it. Just not very hard. I was raised around bikers. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 8 years old and I don't take crap from anyone. I just think life is too short to not give it all I've got. Just my way of seeing things I guess.

Thanks for the update on the Schofield.  As for personalities, most of us have some burrs that need smoothing there too.
