Quite a collection by now!  Two Schofields, a "Wobbley" and now a Starr.  Pretty soon you will be as gun poor as the rest of us! Grin

No 'pretty Soon' about it ... the time has come right now .... espcially since I have a dialed in Pedersoli .45-70 rolling block to  be under my Chirstmas tree .... pistol grips, Soule style sites and all.

I just joined NCOWS and have found that my .45 Schofield (Codymatic) Taylors/Uberti '73 Winchester will not pass an NCOWSmuster with its short stroke and aluminum carrier ... and am looking to get a .45 cal Marlin rifle as well

So now I have Two rifles on my wish list .... and shooting the Starr will have to wait until mid fall ....not that shooting it is so expensive, but it is over 30 miles to the nearest shooting range, with all the gas that entails....

To paraphrase the old Gene Autrey song, 'He's in the poorhouse now' .... LOL

I used to pray to the Big Guy daily to bring me a woman who paddled and shot ...

Then a very religious female flying friend set me this admittledly sexist video from You Tube of a group called the Red Hot Cherry Bombs (Which included Micky Gilly at the time) ... the name of the song was "It's Hard to Kiss The Lips Goodnight (That Chew Your Ass Off All Day Long)''

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjkLf_X88WM

And the song has definitely got me rethinking my priorities ... LOL

A nice selection of shooters and cutters!  I was wondering if that bone handled belduque under the '51 Navy is from Crazy Crow, and if so how do you like it?

Wildman ... got to love those shotguns ... and is that a Nagant in the first pic at the top?

Sir Charles ... somehow it was not involved in the shot .... there was a reason when I took it but I forget now .... anyway, here is a pic of the knfe ....

That Bowie has a kind  of interesting story ... when I was talking to Chuck Burrows, I was whining that, as I had a fixed income, I would never be able to own one of his handmade knives. Out of his own kindness, he offered to make a knife from a known source and make it one of his. The result was this knife; once and Indian Bowie (as in Made in India) with a nice swootz/Damascus pattern, Chuck customized the once bone handle with some rawhide and removed the snap from the sheath. He then added the rawhide customm knif securing system and added a belt to the sheath before retooling the entire sheath.

I wear both the Belduque by Josh and the Bowie while reemacting and would be hard put to tell you which gets the most complements ....

Jubal ... good eye!

The knife is too small to historically( they were much bigger), but it is all around one of the nicest knives that I own

Sorry for the photos ... hotoshop.com is down and the pics are too big to put below ....
