I need 2 cups this morning, one for each eye. I've got to get a haircut this morning, so I will be presentable for the festivities over the weekend at the VFM.  I'm ready for breakfast, it looks like Leo ain't around to do any cooking.

I just made another pot for the later risers. Slim,  Welcome to summer with the rest of us! We don't have seasons around here, it goes from summer to winter. It stays hot around here till about Halloween. Leo has picked up some of my bad habits, like staying up late. He has turned out to be a purty fair cook, I'm real proud of him.

Happy July.  I just finished the June thread, and laughed at this:

"------- he ate a meal of dog food, matzo balls, gefilte fish and soy sauce".   Must'a been the gefilte fish that turned his stomach.  Stuff just don't look tasty to me.

Del, that is one purty house; I love that style of architecture.

Got us a quick notice wedding to attend this weekend.  Got a call last evening that our best friend's son decided yesterday that he wanted to make a run to "Vegas" and get hitched to the gal he's been living with for many years - hit's a mystery to me.  So, since we are the "family" in the "destination location", we're having house guests, and going to be working the logistics of the deal.  I thought we were in for a quiet weekend; the kids are all gone or otherwise occupied, so it was gonna be just us two old birds here.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

You fellers talkin' about the age thing made me think back to my working days: most of the kids I helped train in the last ten years or so were younger than my kids, and sometimes they'd watch me do some feat of experience that mystified them, and ask just how old I was, since I could outwork most of them.  I'd just get the seniority list out of the cabinet on the truck (we had to have that list on all work sites - Union Contract thing); for the last ten years I worked I was in the top ten, and the last three I was numero uno on the Union list (seven thousand employees), and number three in the whole company (twenty six thousand, world wide).  Most times, they would look at me like I was some sort of a museum display, after they realized what they were looking at; I always got a chuckle out of that.

I was #1 on the seniorty list in Warrants when I retired. We went to Walmart and Sam's this afternoon, it was a madhouse both places. I got one of those electric scooters at Sam's to ride around a gather up stuff.  I was a terror around there, going up and down the aisles. They may not let me borrow one the next time that I come back.

Mean time I have to go on line renew (translate give my money away) My AED and CPR card for work.  Willl have to renew Work Lic next month. The state charges you to work here along with taxes. That's creating commerce Roll Eyes
