Thanks for the sentiments, Pards. I'll be doing the honor of sounding Taps at his funeral Wednesday. Contacted the funeral home today since I noticed the obit said military honors. Asked if the family would like a live bugler, director said he would check with the Navy and get back to me. Called me back and said I was a go, plus said his Dad said he could've used me last week as well. I'm now in their file for future reference Roll Eyes

Thanks, Miz Letty. I belong to Bugles Across America, a non-profit group that provides live buglers for Vets funerals at no charge to the families. There's about 5,000 of us across the country. It's the least we can do to honor their service to this Country. A live bugler is much more better sounding than those electronic "fake" bugles that are used by some. They're prone to failure at the most inopportune times............... Tongue Roll Eyes

A "live" bugle gets a tear active for me every time. Don't matter the tune...taps or jazzy 'n happy.

I think Micah needs a tractor collection.  Hey Leo, Ya get any of those enchaladas left? I always like a couple of over easy fried eggs on top of mine and some green chile sauce on the eggs.

Thanks for the coffee, WM Wink

The saga of the PS leak continues. Used the truck for small errands yesterday, messy, messy! Level in res. went from middle mark to halfway between it and lower mark. Will replace with the Lucas stuff again. My feeling is that I'm gonna have to replace the durn pump by the time it's all said and done Roll Eyes Undecided

Moanin', y'all.

It's an inside day, again. Looks like the couple degrees cooler per day is done fer awhile. One the other 'bored' members brought up cancelin' the shoot if the prediction for Saturday holds. I've suggested makin' it a Hi-Why-An shoot already.

Had a heluva cloud-burst yestitty affernoon. Didn't last long. Neighbor 'cross the street, two down, had 'is station wagon parked in the drive with the tailgate up. Must be a virus er sumthin' goin' 'round.

Y'all have a Pick 'n Pull up yer way, Buck? Folks I've heard talk what's been ta the one we got here are right happy with the way the things are laid out 'n their prices on used parts.

There is always a lot heat around the PS pump and the seals get hard and crack. The hoses leak also. The high pressure one usually is the one that leaks.

Mornin, everyone.

Sorry I've been gone.  I'm starting to really think these computers have it out for me.  Chalked up another one on saturday.  At least the library has free access to some still.

Buck, my condolences on your friend, many prayers going out to his family and you.

Maj Sterner, thank you for that video.  I only TAD'd with Marines myself, best group I've ever had the honor to work with.

One of my friends, I've mentored and saw grow up who is six years my younger was just commissioned a USMarine in May.  His father liked how since he outranked his son, I had the pleasure to be the first to salute him.

Another, who isn't doing so well, is a veteran Marine.  We're doing all we can to help support him, right now he's in Prescott at the VA Hospital, and they have him on suicide watch: survivor's guilt.  Please pray for him: Navy Cross, purple heart, and a slew of others and he refuses to believe he's done enough for God and Country.

Looks like quite a bit of weather there Del!  And thanks for another Cowboy Code being posted up, I've actually printed off another one I found on here, posted on my door as a "door dec,"  they're decorations on the doors in the dorms, I'll be printing out that one too.  Poor gal thought I was crushing on her because I held the door open for her and her friends.  I just smiled and said I was crushing on her, but don't feel too special because I hold the door open for everyone. Grin

Interesting, got KFAB Omaha on, like the 9-11 guy, guy called in, seems there is interesting things afloat, (pun intended) over this man made flood.  Corps of Engineers have so many lawsuits going nothing would go that way very fast, besides and it's most likely the truth, they do as they are told.  This one they are talking about would be against all the enviromental groups involved with the endangered dead end species BS.  Could be interesting because it would start out in an area of the country where pretty much everyone hates them.  Might be interesting, the lawyer that was on said not much might be won as far as damages , most of it if they won would go for expenses, but it could deplete these pukes funds good time.  Don't know if I trust lawyers much, but it might be interesting and this is al awyer that specializes in Ag law, not your typical hearse chaser at least.

Sorry about yer friend Willie.  Some folks come back different, I seen it.

Del, them nuke plants may be officially safe but why did they move all them folks out?  The evac in New Mexico was for the fire but I think they is a little concerned bout that reactor settin there.

Hehehehehehe...... He.....

Lookin' like the shoot's gonna be, officially, a “relaxed dress code” shoot. Ya just need a hat. Went ta the thrift shop I figgered I'd have the best chance of findin', uhhhhhhhhh, “Urban Fashion” (or "Ghetto Wear"), 'n I struck gold. Got me a pair ah jeans 'bout two sizes too big. On top that, they're cut fer deep crotch on purpose. The cuffs are a couple inches below my knees the crotch a couple inches above. Pockets big 'n deep 'nuff I won't need a holster fer the Glock when I stop on the way home. Six bucks 'n some change (tax).

Crocs 'n black socks. Dig out one my flowered, too big, shirts 'n my hat with the daises growin' out it 'n I'm ready ta go!

Rumors spread fast, the evacs are for water, I don't trust the news, i talked to someone who works there this weekend off record, they are not worried and they will get it far worse than me if it happens.  I think it's more of the enviro folks, now gloatin' over the damn big mess they made. Angry

A casual wear shoot?  I think ma rig would pull ma sweats down an give me that coin slot effect.  With my luck a hot case would find it's way in there straight outta the rifle.
