Thanks  for the coffee, WM. 65 and cloudy here. Might be some rain in the offing Roll Eyes Undecided

Have a meeting at 10. retireees gathering over Whirlpool dumping our contractural insurance programs for some cock-a- mamie set up which will cost us plenty and them next to nothing. Believe they're looking to dump us into Obama-care/Fed. program, cheaper to pay the penalties than the insurance program. Would definately affect me as my HMO is one that would be dumped. I've been with them for more years than I can remember, and got great service from them, too. Thank you Mr. Obama! Undecided Angry Seems that some polls have said that over 50% of companies asked are thinking about dumping employees ins. after O-care kicks in. So much for you can keep your present plans.............. Roll Eyes Shocked Angry Sad

A booty-full G'Mornin', one 'n all.

Gottah feelin' the few degrees unner the guessers' guesses from o'er the past couple days ain't gonna hold taday. Gonna be a tad warm 'n mebbe a l'il wet. Upside is it's nice 'n gloomy out 'n it's one more day closer ta fall.

Was goin' to the indoor ta bang 'round some but somethin's come up that'd make me later than I wanna be. I'll skip this week.

Buck, Guantanamo Bay is still in bidness. That individual ain't told the truth about anything yet. O'Bama (respect to his Irish blood) Care ain't no different. He'll read whatever his handlers put up on the teleprompter. Point that out to his loyal subjects 'n they'll call you a racist, fascist, tell you you've been brain washed by 'Faux' News 'n finish up by sayin' it's all George Bush's fault.

Well, the cold front didn't last long, it's supposed to be 99 today. Thanks for the Cawfee this morning, more needed. We went to a BBQ place night for supper. Moose had some gift cards and I had a 2 fer coupon. We dined on baby back ribs that were delicious. We both stuffed ourselves. I hope they keep mailing out those 2 fer coupons. Once a month, as long as the coupons hold out. I'm not even thinkin' about breakfast.

Could be interestin' come next spring, first place to go in 2012 is Ioway, some of the long range says the western part of the state may still have a heck of a lot of water that in no way can be blamed on Bush.

Mornin' everyone, thanks for the much needed joe WM

yeah, doing research on "preservation, conservation and restoration of Mesa Verde Nat'l Park."  Actually haven't even been to bed yet, the paper is due tomorrow night, just got all the "research" in order, now I've got to write the damn thing.

That's a cool story, Leo.

Buck, that stinks about O'Bama care ruining everything for you.  You guys aren't union or anything?  No way to complain or "rise up"?  I do love how a full-bird Colonel in the USMC got a slap on the wrist for his new acronym.

Apparently now there is a new acronym that now supersedes FUBAR.  So now it's SNAFU, FUBAR, and now OBAMA: he used it during a press meeting, so it's official Grin
One Bad *** Mistake America

Let's just hope he lets the generals and such do their jobs with Afghanistan and such.  Damn bastard has made it hell for the boys in Iraq drawing that to a close, most danger they've been in, and one of them it's his fourth hop!  All bureaucratic boondoggle from the damn hoopleheads.  It's really bad here in Flag.  It's the one blue section in a gloriously red state, they all love the big O...  yep...

most of my friends now are flying Gadsdens and Stars and Bars, couple of which are hoping DC pushes Texas far enough that we get some kickin going that-away.

Don't remember if I posted this, but was out to the BIL's a while back, Rowdy had fun chasin' this mallard for about a 1/2 hour, was one tired pup when done.   Grin  Duck seemed to have fun also, chase to the end of the pond, duck flies over the dog and it all started again:

That's become a familiar sight Del.  Better than watchin TV.  Now that we got the ducklings what can't fly it's even funnier.  They don't mind the dog a bit but mama does get a little riled.  Angel thinks they is just her new little buddies an wants them little ones ta play the game too.  Headed down that way now.

That one of those hit-n-misses, Del?

We're Union, Arcey. What Whirlpool wants to do is contrary to the last two or three contracts we did with Maytag. Whirpool assumed our/us retirees when they bought up Maytag and kept us when they sold Hoover's assets to TTI( China or Taiwan).Probably had close to a 1000 retirees at the meeting this morning. Three former Union presidents, reps from Sherrod Brown, Jim Renacci, former Congressman John Bocceri, American Assoc. of Retired Persons, Afl-Cio, reporters, and the whole shebang was live on local radio. Del, it is a good place for pizza.  They offer a light crust now what lets ya enjoy the flavor without gettin too filled up.  Young folks wouldn't appreciate it so you can get it on a thick crust too.

Hey, y'all.

G'luck with it, Buck. Hope it all works out for ya.

Rather ah been shootin' this mornin' but nothin' ventured – nothin' gained. I blame George Bush.

Turned out a l'il uncomfortable in the jungle this affernoon. An inside day. 'Nother in store for tomorrow. That time of year.

Had one get off on larceny charges after robbin' a First Virginia.branch years ago. He was polite, displayed no weapon nor made no threats. Walked behind the counter 'n helped 'isownself. Ran thru a gas station lot where an ODO with a take home was fillin' up. He managed ta keep 'im in sight 'til 'e disappeared inta a residential area. Gave the K-9 dood a good place ta start a track 'n the boy decided it was better ta give up than become a chew toy for the puppy. Told the guys in the interrogation interview room he wouldn't go ta jail for robbery. Damned if the judge didn't agree. I was pissed - big time.

Arcey this ain't no where on that scale but I know of a young man that takes things an when ya catch him he says, "you weren't usin it."  It don't matter if I were or not, IT'S MINE!  Dumb thing is that I proved over many a year that if ya ask I will most likely say yes.  Just don't be helpin yerself.  Ain't nothin worse than that "gee, I thought this was my house" feeling.
