Mornin', y'all.
Bought some cheap plastic 'reconditioned' upright thingy for a project I was werkin' on. Figgered I'd throw it away when I was done. Think we used it here three or four years after the expensive one we had busted. Bought a small shop vac from Sam's a couple months ago. Sez it's for cars. Orange 'n black with ArmorAll decals on it. Right nice, $30.00. I'd say it sucks but, like gay'n native american some werds don't mean what they say no more.
Guessers were wrong yestitty. Said 90 'n it only hit 89. Predictin' the same for taday. Sayin' 87 for the shoot Saturday 'n I'll be mentorin' a new shooter - who has percussion revolvers. Wonder why it is I feel 3 minutes for a 30 second stage. Think it's best if I load some wadcutters 'n bring my Blackhawks in the event he'll need cartridge revolvers............

Leo, It sounds like you always had plenty of stuff to work on. When Moose and I first got married, I used my days off to work on our vehicles. I don't do too much of that stuff anymore, just the minor stuff. I have enjoyed using my tools again, working on the A-26 restoration.

Most days it was fun but others not so much. We had tools in the work shop that were older than my Dad. Most folks would use them for display pieces but we actually had ta use em If we didn't bring our own. It was a neat job for the most part.

If I can talk Rita into a new one for me, I'll send my old one, works fine as long as you put the duck tape in the right place.

I know my way round duct tape. My Mom dropped her old Kodak years ago an the film was gettin exposed. A little tape in the right place an it went on for several more years takin good pitchers. It took the flash cube that would turn a quarter when ya cocked it. Used three cubes per roll a 135.

I remember those, flash cube was mechanical, had a little thing that releses a spring or something and it hit something and set it off. Ok I checked and that was the magic cube:
The later Magicube (or X-Cube) retained the four-bulb format, and was superficially similar to the original Flashcube. However, the Magicube did not require electrical power- each bulb was set off by a plastic pin in the cube mount that released a cocked spring wire within the cube. This wire, in turn, struck a primer tube, at the base of the bulb, which contained a fulminate. The fulminate ignited shredded Zirconium foil in the flash and, thus, a battery was not required. Magicubes could also be fired by inserting a thin object, such as a key or paper clip, into one of the slots in the bottom of the cube.
Flashcubes and Magicubes are superficially similar but not interchangeable. Cameras requiring flashcubes have a round socket and a round hole for the flashcube's pin, while those requiring Magicubes have a round shape with protruding studs and a square socket hole for the Magicube's square pin. The Magicube socket can also be seen as an X, which accounts for its alternate name, X-Cube.

Thanks for the coffee, WM.
Didn't get to go to the ES. We were at Wally's last night and the wife saw a unit in "purple". That's all it took, it followed us home. So much for brand loyalty
It's a Eureka, after assembly it did a good job. Bagless with extra stuff for pets, didn't think there was so much of our long haired cat's fur laying around, but there was. In the area I tested it on, the "Dirt Cup" was filled to capacity plus. Yep, no more bags for this place. that cat is just a big( emphasis on big) ole teddy bear. An extremely messy one, at that!
