That'd be kinda strange lookin'. Woulda needed one in .356.

The fat lady'll go inta spasms when the power goes out, don't care whether the door's up or down. Lost count ah the times I showed 'er how ta snatch the rope ta disengage it from the opener. Got POed at 'er once, opened the thing 'n backed 'er car out inta the drive then shut the door. Tolt 'er she didn't have it ta fret over then.

What I done was stupid, nothin short.  When ya get the automatic opener the kit comes with a thing that holds the manual latch open so the lectric one can work.  I busted the cord ta one a the manual latches so I had ta pull the rope an push the latch at the same time an not lose ma finger.  Felt like I was doin yoga ta get it done an open.  Gonna blank off the latch with the broke cord fer now an all should be fine an dandy.

It's a big deal to the people in that area the activities included a street dance a gun show and a flea market chance to see your neighbors you haven't seen in a year.

It's hot and muggy around here, we might have some storms tonight. Don't want any hail or twisters, just good, steady rain.

Stuff has moved about 40 miles east since I left for work. Interesting looking stuff, if it produces it should be small like the ones yesterday.  Worst on tore up some outbuilding, power lines and beat up a couple pivots.

Stoney Pete needs some prayers, talked to him a bit yesterday, things were good till a couple hours before I called.  He had a bad migrane, said it could be a bad sign.  Checked today, no answer, got a message abit ago he was back in the hospital and had just had surgery, Shunt must have plugged, that's what he was worried about yesterday.

Got dead chicken hunks, red 'taters 'n carrots drownin' in fat free broth in the l'il red one. Broth'll be drawn off this evenin' after it cools, poured inta well rinsed two liter Coke bottle 'n froze fer soup later on.

Been thinkin' on it, can't shoot it Roo's toes. Killer'd eat me alive.

Sorry ta hear 'bout SP. Thanks for the word, WM.

Yestitty morn I was tryin' ta wake up. Was seein' what the birds were up ta, rather waitin' ta see if one er two was gonna get
after the room service girl, when I saw, or thought I saw, a bear. Head all up, nose high sniffin' the wind. Prolly fish nest-overs.

Birds was standin' still but all ah sudden that bear took off like 'e was shot. Folks up in Waynesboro posted a pic.

Late mornin ta ya All.  Made breakfast an tended the garden afore the son was beatin down.  It's already nice an warm.

Stoney has my prayers, I imagine something like that has to take a lot of wind out of the sails.  God bless and keep him.

Buck, I had a little Pontiac when I was young and was driving through a mountain pass.  Traffic was heavy and I hit a cloud burst with high wind and no visability, I was in the left lane, no place ta pull over.  The car felt funny for a second and when I came out of the storm I was in the right lane.  Dang fiber glass body car musta done flew cause I never took ma hands of the wheel a it never moved.  Got ma pulse up perty good when I realized what happened.

I got set out in a plowed field during a Tornado alert. Folks said it was straight line winds that did it. It did make my butt pucker. I called the dispatcher for a wrecker to pull me out. I hope that never happens again. That happened in the Panhandle in 72, I remember it every time the weather looks like tornados.

Worst one I was in was a derecho on July 8 1993, I still hate the Channel 10 Weatherman for that one, had tore across the state already and he said on TV we had a severe thunderstorm about 25 miles away headed our way, dang fool didn't mention 100+ winds or that is was moving at almost 80 mph.

Decided we could make it home, didn't get 1/4th the way there, had a Chevy Citation with a V6, almost needed a 454 big block to make head way.  got into the lea ward side of a grocery store and bailed with the kids into it.

In case you've never heard of one:
