Tell the clown to leave a note 'n get on with it - hisownself. Save a tree er two.......
Mornin', y'all,
With a l'il luck it'll stay in the sixties all day. Can't ask for more'n that.
Wonder if the kids can still find steelies. Them's was good shooters. Knocked the snot out the other marbles. Kinda like gamin' up a shoot with mouse fart loads. 'Course I wouldn't know 'bout such things.
Nice visit with the kids yestitty. Stayed a couple hours then headed ta Target ta get Laney a new bike so she can ride on the boardwalk. Don't know if Alex has ever been there. When we wanted a week on the beach when Ali was growin' up we went to Wrightsville Beach outside of Wilmington instead of OBX. I reckon they don't know there ain't a boardwalk there.........

Steelies were a prize but the cat's eye was the grail. It didn't shoot no better but everybody wanted one. Used a piece a sting for the ring if we was indoors, chalk outside. Thinkin if I got Spud ta playin it may come back an spread around. Heck if bell bottoms could do it why not a good game?
Had a monster of a grilled chicken salad last night, nuthin else necessary. Course there was some bacon in there an dried up bread cubes with a good dressing. Fergot ta boil a few eggs but it was just fine as was.

Don't remember ever playin' indoors, outside we drew a circle in the dirt. I say a kid playing marble a couple of years ago, indoors, on a computer, sittin' in a chair. Hard to get kids outside to play these days unless there's referees & uniforms involved.

That's true but we played when it was rainin. We did the circle in the dirt too but marbles rolled better on the side walk. Almost put a kid's eye out once...

We aalways played Marbles in the dirt, there were no sidewalks on my street. It's been raining since about 11 am. A good day for sleeping in and Victoria is taking full advantage of it. More rain forcast for tomorrow. The front yard looks like a fairway.

Thanks fer the coffee, WM.
I'll be praying, pards.
'Tis 52 and partly sunny. Fog earlier. "Mostly cloudy with patchy fog early. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning...then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs 73 to 77. Light and variable wind becoming southwest at 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 60 percent."

I am on the air again, didn't work earlier, been on the phone with a good ol' 'merican tech. (Internet Nebraska uses them) Had to reset in my computor, he walked me through and had a laugh a couple times when I'd tell my helper to quit likin' my ear. Had it on speaker phone and he'd tell me something and Rowdy would answer him.

The fat lady'll go inta spasms when the power goes out, don't care whether the door's up or down. Lost count ah the times I showed 'er how ta snatch the rope ta disengage it from the opener. Got POed at 'er once, opened the thing 'n backed 'er car out inta the drive then shut the door. Tolt 'er she didn't have it ta fret over then.
Funeral was short. Saw a second cousin I ain't seen in years. Fact 'is he remembered the last we'd seen one 'nother I was in K-9. Got thrown outta K-9 January of '80. The man standin' with 'im was 'is son..............
