Ah magnificent mornin' ta ya, folks.

Bright 'n sunny. Sky looks like the light blue they shot on '56 Chevrolets. 60 now headed ta the low 70s.

On my way to the po-lease range in Norfolk ta re-qualify. Should be a hoot. Ya get ta see how old the other retirees look 'n do a l'il shootin'.

'N it felt good too. Hehehehehehe. We get back ta the twenty five 'n the RO sez, 'Ya got it goin', Sarge. Put these in 'n ya got it.' Don't reckon 'e'd wanna put pressure onna old man, does ya? But 'e's alright. Was one of my problem children when he was a pup but 'e turned out real good. Real proud of 'im.

The Baby Glock was, as Glock sez, Perfection. Got there 'n realized I'd taken the ammo box out the station wagon Thursday when I got home from the indoor. Spare mags were in there. Borrowed two Mod 17 range mags 'n they were hangin' all out the grip. Looked awful with them red floor plates.

Rode out by the garden. Saw a big bird just over the tree level 'cross the runway from the range. Drove as close as I could get 'n hung 'round awhile but didn't see 'im.

Scratch the sunshine, got some heavy rolling thunder over head now an some big black clouds.  Now it's hailin on my new patio set an grill.  Spring can be fun.  Don't think the garden will be gettin planted taday.

Hey Pop, did ya know yesterday was the anniversary of VE Day.  Had an uncle what was there an figgured it was worth mentionin.

The shootin sounds like it went well.  Good on ya gotta stay in touch.  Funny little story, my dad found a Cimmeron Model 72 and went ta the range fer the first time in years since leavin the Corps.  He calls me up an starts askin me why it didn't make no smoke like in the movies.  I about died laughin but I guess he shot well.  Got get down an spend a little more time with him so he can chute the 51 an get his smoke.
