Just curious if you know what other differances they had?  I only ever worked on the front end of one and it was one of those really early 64 1/2 Ragtops, I sure don't remember any extra sway bars or such on it.

Belonged to a DR, Kid hit a light pole in klate 78 with it.  Dad did the works, found all NOS sheet metal and we also stripped in and did a Black Nitro Cell laquer paint job on it.  Kid is a DR now, Dad is retired, the Mustang was sold years ago.  Still see it once in a while, still one of the nicest paint jobs you'll see on the road, black with a white tom and insides.

I had a white 64 Sprint 2drht that I bought used in 66. It had the wire hupcaps too. The interior was red it had a mini-console with atach mounted in the center of the dash. It had a plastic wood grained steering wheel. It had a chrome low restriction aircleaner and chrome valve. It had 13 inch wheels, but they were 5 bolt pattern. I had a pair of 800X14 Atlas tires that I kept in the trunk for racing. It had the 225HP 289 wth one 4 barrel. It would run good for a little car.

A friend of Rita's has a Futura ragtop I think a 66, not sure.  It's in decent condition in his garage waiting for him to retire.

Pulled a good one a lunch, one of the young girls here at work thinks I'm a genuis.  She couldn't get her car un-locked, bot locks were real stipp.  I took her key, rubbed some of my pencil on it and stuck it in and turned it.  Works fine now.

The little green Falcon is a 60 model, the 61 has a little different grill, as does the 62 and 63. They came out with a new body for the 64 and 65, then in 66 they changed it again. I used go bananas trying to ordering the right sheet metal for our body shop when I was in HS.

Del, that graphite works wonders just not on an ignition key, it conducts juice.  Use it on the house locks all the time.  Had a dead bolt that would not want ta let go of the key so I put some in from a tube when Lil weren't lookin.  She come around the corner an I laid hands on it an said abra cadabra try it now.  She did an it5 was slicker than snot.  Couldn't keep a straight face.

Leo, It ain't nice to fool Lil. I paid a visit to Ol 927 this morning and said Hi. It's sorta grounded because of the runways being redone at the Addison Airport.

I remember there was somethin' in the front suspension that wouldn't fit both. Don't remember more than one sway bar under the front end of either. Could have been an after market thing.

I'll give ya I never werked on two side by side or buy parts for each. Did replace a lower right control arm on the convertable. I kinda lost it tryin' to do a dirt drift on a wet street thru a left turn. Smacked a curb. That I remember well. But that ain't it anyway. Same part numbers, NCP.

Now, they're together again.

I know it don't make any differance, but I have a good friend who was a front end man for years, he loves those old Fords, I'll pick his brain next time because now I'm curious.

Funny, he's a couple years older, knew him from Ford V8 Club when I was in HS.  He had a 51 Coupe and a 5o Tudor, I had a 49 Tudor.  He moved away, we lost track of each other, showed up 4-5 years ago at the store, shoots CAS now, became very good friends again.

Arcey, Thanks for the info on Sleep's Dad. He was in a wheel chair at Sleep's graveside service last summer. I know Sleep is happy to have his Dad close to him now. Prayers up for the Cole family.     Leo, Don't worry about not eating any Chorizo, I have been eating your share as well as mine.

Leo, Don't worry about not eating any Chorizo, I have been eating your share as well as mine.

And I have been eating his share of ham and other such products.  No disrespect meant but I always wondered what they had against good honest swine producers and worked so hard to ruin their business Wink

Del, I am glad that you are holding up your end on the pork products. I had some ham for supper last night and some sausage patties for breakfast. I'll probably have some BBQd pork products for lunch and supper.  I've got reservations at the Capri Motel in Fairbury for RCS.

We're going to have ham at one of the meals, Liz has a good country ham in the freezer.

Had ta pick somethin that would be hard fer me.  I don't think I single handedly crippled the industry.  If so, they can breath easy now, I's back in business.  At least I didn't destroy the tobacco companies.  I guess Lil put all the fast food companies outta business in the last month.

A tad late but a Blessed Easter to ever'one.

L'il too warm out but there's a breeze. Comfortable inside so no heat or A/C wanted. Gonna put my cold weather whines away for awhile 'n dust off the summer ones.

Fixed supper for the two of us. Went 'n hit Harris Teeter's salad bar. Put ham on mine in honor of Leo's victorious effort. Got so much other stuff on it it was hard ta close the box. Why I stay away from all-ya-can-eat come in 'n sit down places.
