Thanks fer the Cawfee Pop.  Still got a couple weeks afore I can enjoy them biscuits but thanks fer the thought.

30 out an the local weather genius got me laughin this mornin.  He reported that an unknown substance fell from the sky last night.  He says not rain, not snow an not hail.  It's called sleet mister meteorologist.  I was standin in it an there weren't much mystery ta my simple mind as ta identifying the stuff.  Still gigglin about that one.

Ya all see the story about the beauty queen that plugged a home invader with one a them pink snubbies?  Guy was beatin the snot outta her fiancée an she got four rounds in 'im.  Guy's rap sheet had dirt bag written all over it, I'd say the girl is a keeper...

Don't matter if it's pink as long as it goes bang and hits what it's aimed at. From the article, seems like the guy was a career perp. Shocked

Buck, they interviewed the couple on TV and the gal said she had only shot it once before at the range.  Said she couldn't hit nuthin but when the fight was goin on she took a breath an hit the perp without shooting her boyfriend.  Guess she is a natural under pressure.

Hope the package comes taday.  Hate waiting on the postman.

It's here, Leo. Nice shape for a '61-'62 manufacture. Valves are like butter, and except for a slight deformation on the bell bead, relatively dent free which is real good considering it being a student grade horn with a copper bell. It's along the tri-color of your Super finish wise. Bore......485! It blends with my Bach pretty well soundwise. Sandy's exstatic.......Buck Roll Eyes Wink

Sounds good Buck.  I have a line on a few coronets out here.  I'm trying to find someone I can trade computer service for, barter system is big again now and I would be more than happy to spend a few days fixin one in exchange.  Got a batch of cookies (the good kind) fer a simple fix the other day.

Greetings from the marvelous Days Inn, Raphine. Rainin' but we got thru the side matches 'fore  it started. Was damned good seein' pards far away. It's been too long.

Had a nice chilli 'n cornbread at the range for lunch. 10 oz. Ribeye, choice of 'tater, five fried shrimp along with trips to the soup 'n salad bar for dinner. Same truck stop we went to a couple years ago 'n should have walked out of. New owner, completely remodeled, sufficient wait staff - it was like night 'n day.

I'm crashin'. Nighty night, y'all.

Good day here, the store and the whole town is full of blue jackets.  Dang good bunch of kids.  In fact the one teacher just bought a pair of leg irons and told them he wasn't afraid to use them. Grin
