I think they are referring to the Condor?!?!

That's how I took it.  Thought Stu was bein funny.  We don't got no real buzzards outside of the desert but plenny of vultures here in the hills.  They seem ta be eatin just fine.

Yep, the condom condor and the whooping cough cranes.  That's why you can't hunt big game in Cally-for-ya with lead bullets, they is afriad one a them big buzzards might eat the bullet out of the gut pile. Roll Eyes

If those Californy hunters are leavin' bullets in gut piles, they must not be usin' enough gun - my bullets tend to exit the far side of whatever critter they enter, & I've seen the deer out there, the Labs around here are bigger.

Thanks for the morning Cawfee. I got out early this morning and drove to Fort Worth for a day long CAF meeting. I did a lot of walking today and got some exercise. We got up to almost 90 degrees today. I am glad that the hangar was air conditioned.

Plenty of turkey vultures around here.

Del, ended up using a .17 CC Lee dipper that holds 1.2 grs of Clays. So, I used 2 of them to make 2.4 grs in the case. Nice little load. Better-half and oldest kid tested the loads. They liked them a lot more than .45 Colt loads. Loaded one case with only one .17 CC dipper to see what it would be if I miss loaded a case. Shot one of each at a 1.5" thick pine board at 10 yards. The 2.4 gr load went thru the board and at least 3" of dirt behind it. The 1.2 gr load went about half way thru the board. The full load's impact was about POA. The half load's impact was obviously lower.

I slept through breakfast this morning. I had some Cawfee and Toast.  I'm savin' up for the Pot Roast for supper tonight. We got some more hot weather today, with 30 mph winds, so it's no so bad outside.

It's beautiful here now, 60 in the shade with a light breeze.  Might head down ta the park my own self with Angel.  Gave her a outdoor hose bath this mornin after she rolled in goose droppins.  That water was cold an I know it weren't fun fer her.  She shouldn't a done that.

Gotta get away from the confusers fer a spell taday an go back ta work on Monday like most folks.

Rita and I made 42 Runzas tonight after work.  (Small personal size bierock)  She needed half for something at work tommorow and the other half for us.  Used 10 pounds of hamburger, 5 heads of cabbage, a couple onions and since I was makin' a mess and the oven was hot I made 5 large round loaves of bread for a total of over 15 pounds of flour cause I had to open the 4th bag to finish.

Just waitin' for the bread to cool enough to toss most of it in the freezer, worked till 5 tonight also.

Thanks for the Cawfee this morning. The wind blowed all day yesterday(30mph). My giant Magnolia tree shed all it's dead leaves in the back yard. I'm gonna wait till the rain quits. We have needed it for awhile. It's gonna be in the middle 60s, thanks to the clouds and rain. I hope we can get some more rain today. I slept in this morning, Victoria didn't wanna get up either. Moose still has school for another two months. She is going on Saturdays to tuitor kids for the state tests and they had a school carnival on Sat. afternoon that she had to attend.
