Best pulled pork sammich I ever had. Ya hear bout folks usin coke or root beer in the pot. I used ginger ale. 6 hours on high. Drained all the fat an liquids afore a tore it up. Dumped in a bottle of sauce and one hour on low. Lil's slaw made the dish an I got left overs. I never made an omelet with pulled pork but I got ideas fer the mornin.

Wind’s calmed down but it’s gonna be twenty degrees cooler than yestitty. Ain’t too bad. Strange, but not too bad. They’re guessin’ back in the sixties tammara.

I’ll second Leo’s testimonial on the pulled pork recipe. First time I saw that on Southern Foods I thunk it was too easy ta be any good but I did one that way ‘n it werked for me. Been doin’ ‘em that way since.

Just got in from outside & it's a cold one at 10...prolly get up 'bout 30 if lucky...
Still a bit cloudy out & chance for a bit more of the white stuff..we got several inches all told.... lots of feet in Tahoe where the water's needed.

No more snow but everythin is frozen. In the 20's an not a cloud in sight. 22,000 folks without power an a good sized tornader touched down not far from here.
Arcey, first time I had it that way the gal what made it didn't drain the fat, she just dumped the sauce in it. I found that drainin it is an important step.

Was lookin’ for sumthin’ else when I run ‘cross the vid. The chicky-babe dumped it. What was in the thing I ignore was time. The pots I’ve got ain’t the same temp wise so I run by the thermometer. That ‘n they say the 20 minute thing. If I added that every time I took the lid off some my stuff would still be cookin’ ‘n I ain’t used the pot since last Wednesday. Suspect that comes from the old days when the lawyers didn’t make ‘em run as hot as they do now.
Tolt the story of a neighbor’s pup lickin’ the curb stone by the drive one mornin’. That’s what the member-of-the-family-what’s-people-too was inta I think. The drippin’s from a pork butt I poured out there.
Heh, heh, heh….. She’s one gettin’ out dog. I wave when they run by chasin’ it.

That's about it Arcey, I just used ginger ale instead a water and I didn't need no knife, just a pair of forks. My pot, 6 hours is plenny before shreadin. I think the gal what didn't dump the grease all them years ago was either tryin ta kill me or make ma lips nice an glossy. Hard ta tell with that one.

Not ta beat it inta the ground but I watched it again an I leave it on high till the sauce goes in. It don't do no damage. I aint waitin 10 hours.
News says there's at least 50 power lines down up where the kids live, they's flyin' crews in by whirly bird. Deli where Lil used ta work was up early makin sammichs in the dark for the power guys.

More bad news for the Hudson Valley, Had a private plane ditch into the Hudson River today, should be on the national news, last week a Police Officer was killed in the line of duty in the city just south of me. They say things happen in 3's, not looking forward to the 3rd incident. Prayers up to those who need em
