Same here, not 'spossed to be more than about 3 inches, but wind, we'll both probably loose ours to kansas and get what the Dakota's sends, you might get some from Wyoming also. Grin

There’d be a rush on bread, beer, milk, water ‘n rubb…. n’er mind the last, if we had y’all’s forecast. Deep inta the fifties here, easy breeze ‘n cloudin’ up.

Ended up in need of a l’il wireless laptop type thingy last weekend. I ain’t in need no more, got me a netbook. Took it ta the site of my imprisonment a while ago ‘n made sure it werked. Their wire let inta the weather, the eagle cam, the paper, google ‘n such but it won’t let me in here. Suspect it has sumthin’ ta do with evil guns. Got streamin’ audio of the AM stations I listen to I can’t pick up with a portable radio in there. The thing ain’t got much volume but it’s tiny ‘nuff ta slip in the pillow case.

Went ta where the motels grew next ta the off ramp. Sat inna couple parkin’ lots. Signal strength indicator went berserk but they all wanted a security code to log on.

It has been drizzling since before sun up, the temp. is in the 60s with a lot of humidity. Victoria hates to go outside when it's raining. Has anybody tried those plastic liners for crock pots? I saw an ad on the computer. I think that I'll try a box, it looks like they would lessen the clean up time.

Thanks, Stu. I'll give that a try. Sittin' out in the drive at home messin' with it now. Want ta drain the battery.

Folks do it everywhere, Leo. Ought ta see it 'round here when a huricane is comin'.

Tex, I've seen the things. Ain't tried 'em. Dump mine after I use it 'n fill it with hot water 'n soap. Mornin' it ain't much more'n a wipe 'n rinse. Liner seems ta be more werk cause I'm gonna wash it either way. But that's just me.

Gotta go with that.  Them bags don't seem worth any bonus at clean up.  Any pot er pan can be cleaned up easy even if it looks hopeless.  Cast iron is the easiest but even when ya burn somethin in stainless it can be fixed.  A crock is just like the man said, hot water an soap, clean as a whistle.  With the stainless use water, baking soda an a little cooking oil an put it back on the burner.  Cleans up in a snap.  Only pan I will give up on is a worn out teflon one.  They get ta take a dirt nap.

Maybe it missed me - not a snowflake in sight.  Course the sun ain't peeked out all day either.

Seems to be 4-5 inches here, blowing of course, almost white-outs in places, took me two hours to drive across town and back, from north central to the south-east, still had to drive to the south-west after I got Rita to go to work.  Called, asked if they had enough help with out me, no problem they will most likely be durn slow.  So I came home.  I-80 was closed out by Milford, both lanes, 30 some cars and 10 semi's, must have been quite a mess of if closed both directions for 4 hours, traffic was backed up half way to Omaha and back almost to York.  Open now.

The cops ain't doing good either, saw one almost didn't make it up the hill and almost end up on the curb, saw another on a hook, drivers door mashed in, window broke.  Radio didn't say any thing about one hurt so I'm hoping he was OK.

Del, finally got the wheel/tire situation fixed on Sandy's roller skate. price on the used wheel came down about $30 from last summer. the leaky front turned out to be a roofing nail, but they dismounted it and sealed it anyway.......Buck Cool

I hope that you folks that are getting snowed are indoors and warm.  The Beef Stew sounds good to get warm, with some homemade tortillas or japaleno cornbread. We've had springtime weather today, drizzle all day with a lot of wind and humidity.

Still no snow here - cold & windy though.  Heard a rumor there was a "gunman" running around the UNL campus, but nothing on the news about it - you hear anything Del?

Tried Letty's meatball soup recipe, or close to it - its a good one.  Didn't have any mint leaves so I added some cumino instead, & blended up the tomaters cause the Wife don't like em whole.
