Sunny taday.  That means trimming limbs but I could use some time outside burning calories.  Had fish, spary-grass and sweet tater fries last night.  May be worth a repeat.

Did the storm hit yet Del?  Woke to what I'd call normal January weather on this end of the state, snowin' cold $ windy.  A far cry from the 63º we had on Friday, but I wouldn't call it a storm. . . yet.  I cooked some fish yesterday too - fried up the last of the catfish in the freezer & served em with some spaghetti squash hash browns.

We had about a 1/4 inch of ice, we're in a lull right now, snow to start this afternoon, add 25-40 mph winds and it won't matter we're only to have 4-8'.

Lil has been wantin ta do the sketty squash since we had it at a picnic last summer.  We baked the fish, it was basa or something like that.  Good trick is to put a layer of thin sliced onion underneath and a strip of raw bacon on top.  Lemon juice, lemon pepper, garlic an olive oil with a little water in the pan.  Makes a nice sauce an a good piece of fish.  The bacon flavor really soaks in though ya might want to save the bacon fer the dog when it is done.
