Del, So much for drop tops in the winter. Hey Leo, I woke up to about 3 to 4 inches of snow on top of an inch or so of ice. Winds are blowing 30 to 40 mph right now. The Moose and Victoria are sleeping in this morning.  No school today. Our mini-blizzard will put a damper on any outdoor Superbowl parties this week. The forcasted high for the game is 59. We went to the store last night for provisions before everything hit. It started about midnight. Del, I got you something for your cooking that I'll bring you for RCS this year. I'm still walking on my cane, I don't plan on going outsde till all of this ice and snow melts.

I hope the driver doesn't have to go through a car pool tunnel.

Weather here is frosty but nothin like you all have.  Don't fall on your butt before RCS Pop, stay indoors.

1/4" of ice this morning. Since our funds didn't post till this morning, we had to go out to prepare for the worse end of this thing coming in tonight. Seem to be set now. didn't have too much trouble getting around, but stayed in this area, didn't venture too far afield. At least since we got Sandy's struts done, the roller skate works somewhat better in slippery conditions...............Buck Roll Eyes Undecided

I slept in this morning, no school till ten so I didn't get up till 6:00.  No ice or snow but it was 11º below & 30 - 40 mph wind. Not very nice out still, but its up to 0º.  s'posed to be in the fifties by the end of the week though, & around 40 on Sunday for my first shooting event of the year.

The store is closing at 5, I don;t have to go in.  Snow might stop about 10 tonight, they've backed off, around 0 tonight and winds of around 25 mph.

well we missed the bullet on the ice and snow this morning,  got bout a half inch of sleet and that was it,  just awful cold now.  down in the single digits tonight with a 15 mph wind.  the big birds are big enough to not need heat.  they can keep it 60  without any help.  no  little birds right now.

ready for a little warm up now,  but looks like it may be a coupla days till we get back to  the 40's

Got a little snow overnight, can't tell how much because it won't lay still.  Still cold & windy, but not as cold as yesterday - up to 7º already.

Made a batch of noodles out of oat flour last night - best noodles I ever made.  Cooked em with a pint of canned venison, always a favorite at my house.
