Just went to Adirondack Jacks web site to order some more of the .45 Cowboy Brass and found he has closed up shop due to a health condition and apparently no one has purchased his business as yet.

I would like to extend my best wishes and prayers to him.

In the mean time if anyone has some brass to sell, I would be interested,

also would it be possible to adapt the .45 autorim to use in it's place or to trim the .45 Long Colt.

Thanks for any info.

The rim is too thick on auto-rim brass.  You could trim 45 Colt or maybe even 45 Schofield but I think you would end up with brass that has thicker walls at the mouth then the .45 Cowboy Spcl brass.

Hopefully someone will buy Adirondack Jack's business, but if not I'm wondering if he could make a deal with Starline so they sell it direct to customers and pay him a royalty?

They aren't talking about Starline .45 brass.  They are talking about .45 Cowboy Special brass.

News Flash...... Gunstock Smith and I have bought Adirondack Jack's rights to produce the Cowboy 45 Special brass. We placed an order with Starline yesterday for 100K rounds. They are estimating 10-12 weeks for us to have it in hand. The new website: www.cowboy45specialbrass.com will have updates. We are also going to be carrying the 45Special carriers for the '60 Henry, and the '66 & '73 Winchesters.

The line continues!!   Grin
