EAA Bounty Hunter II Info Wanted
« on: July 16, 2005, 08:25:21 AM »
Howdy pards,

I just purchased an EAA Bounty Hunter II SxS 12 gauge with exposed hammers.  Bein' this is my first shotgun purchase ever, I was hopin' that some of you could shed a little info on this shotgun and any views you may have concerning EAA Firearms.  It is my understanding that EAA no longer makes this model.  Is this a bad thing?

Much obliged, BW.

Hey Pards!

The Bounty Hunter II is a great double barrel............Its a bit stiff to open, but shoot it a few times and it'll loosen up.  Oh, and its built like a tank!

Happy Trails!!!

From Spain,
    Hi BW:

I have one and I have shooted it many times. I like it very much because I like its "kick"  :D.
I think that it´s very hard, like an "old soviet tank T-34".

I hope you have a good time shooting the shotgun. ;)

       (Please, excuse my bad english).

      Sincerely

The Bounty Hunter is made by Baikal.  EAA used to import them but Remington has made a deal to now be the importer.  As mentioned, they are a good strong gun.

Remington now imports them as Spartan

Been using one with the hammers for 3 or 4 years now. Wouldn't trade it for any other!

BW,
This is a little late but you asked so.....I been shooting this shotgun for two years, built like a T-34 and like the others said she's stiff opening out of the box. Mine needed a little burr removal treatment on the extractor, about fifteen minutes work with some sandpaper and polishing cloth. Push the latch and she opens on her own. Paid $300.00 for mine and worth every penny. You can't go wrong.
