Back in April, I reached the milestone of full retirement age...I mean the age.... not the fact I retired or even would or could  :-\

that age is a time to recharge your batteries  :)

so..... I have done just that .... retirement age should come with perks  ;)  I've recharged my battery so to speak

2 weeks ago, I won the bidding on a S&W 38 New Departure 4th Model circa 1901 , as new un-fired.

I also have a NIB Uberti #3 American in route , should be here Tuesday  :D

I do like the way you charge your batteries - sounds like high voltage!  ;D

Actually there are 3 new (or new to me) in the last month.

The a for mentioned Smiths and an Open Top in 44.

I got a bit of a "thank you service" bonus and part was spent on these three ....   ;D

Now the Uberti is fitted with Original grips

just about a perfect fit , minor fitting on the front flat adjacent to the 1/2 moon  ( I had to remove about 1/32" on the flat to snug them up )

and an original, the look I was shooting for

Major 2,

Great job!
I like the new ones better than the factory wood grips

what impressed me as how well (close) they fit...Uberti got it dead nuts on  :)
