I have an aunt in a remote part of NSW but no way to contact her.  Haven't heard from her in years but I hope she is ok.

Slept like a baby last night an by that I don't mean I woke up every two hours crying.  Feelin good and going to catch up on some things around the house.  It's nice to have my motivation back.

Buck, Lil surprised me last night and brought home the final components I need to finish restoring my Les Paul.  Couldn't find ma soldering iron and am hoping to dig it up taday.  Got a few boxes left ta look through an I'm hopin it's in one of em.  She is lookin really good and once the lectrics are done I should have somethin special.  No bad business from either end of ma body taday so I am up for it.

We some more homemade tamales, guacamole, and cheese nachos for supper tonight. We had a warm up to the upper 40s today. We should be in the 50s next week. We usually have cold weather this time of the year. The Stock Show started today in Fort Worth and will run through the first week in Feb.  I hope that all the sick folks are better.

Del, i'm getting some help with that Virginia home area problem. Guy from Northern Tidewater Historical Society called me Thursday and got some particulars and is going to check into it for me............Buck Roll Eyes

Afternoon Y'all woke up to no water, it seems the garage/basement door was left up a couple inches and that was enough for the pipes to freeze. Got them mostly thawed out, still have just a trickle at the kitchen sink Got a heater going full blast in that area of the basement, should be ok in a couple hours. Luckily no pipes damaged.

I'm here, my moniter at work is on the fritz, took me 5 hours to get it up enough to read with my nose on the screen.  Benq brand, we have a bunch of them here several years old, mine is the 7th to die in the last month.  No spares left, IT guy will have to come up with one Monday.  Wouldn't have fought it, beat it or what but wanted to check on my Aussie friend.  Word we got he may be back home, but Brisbane has no land lines and they are trying to get up temp cell towers.

well, back to full water in the house, BUT I had to replace the shower head and the kitchen faucet because they got clogged up with the silt that got stirred up when the water pressure dropped. That was fun...NOT!

Well I'm here, nice to see the words and pictures with out squinting. Grin

Rita made cheese potatoe soup for supper with ham in it, pretty good.  She also got some of the brats from the Ammana Colonies from Hy-Vee, the cheese bacon type.  I's so stuffed I don't have room for any of the chock-o-late she brought home.  I must be a good boy. Grin

Sound a lot better than the cold ham sandwich I just ate.  I"ve been stuck at the school house since mid afternoon while the music fellas set up their gear for the dance.  Doors don't open for another half hour & I don't expect to get home till the wee hours.

Want to here a funny about Rice-a-roni, a lady on one of the Lab froums says she makes it, and buys in a whole lot.  She opened a box and bugs were in it, it made her so made she got the box to check the expire date and was going to take it back and complain.  She says she needs to rotate stuff more, she was down on it so she was deeper in the cupboard.  Must of missed this one a few times, was dated sometime in 1996. I did, but I've got spell check, how's the dance going?  I think you need to go check the bathrooms, under the bleachers and the parking lot. Grin
