Always fun to watch a game when you don’t have a dog in the fight – uhhh, sorry Vick…..

Admittedly, I’m not a fan of semi-pro ball but in watchin’ the game with Penn in it I understand Trent Williams’ comment on speed when he reported to the ‘Skin’s trainin’ camp as a rookie. The ball was snapped ‘n everybody was gone - except him. He was still in his stance ‘n he was known for his speed in "school".

Slim, I hope Wisconsin does better than Mich. state is doing. Just seems like Big 10 teams don't match up with those SEC teams. Mich. is in trouble against Miss. State, Northwestern is losing as well. Penn State is the only one that's at least close.....Buck Roll Eyes Shocked

Happy New Year, pards. Good to see everyone still going strong.

Been preoccupied with computer stuff lately. Got 'em all squared away for the most part.

Looking forward to a fine year coming up. May all of you have great ones.

Happy New Year to everyone at Cascity. Most of the Bowl games have been blowouts, except for the Rose Bowl. I've watched TCU all year on TV and Live. I've always thought that this year's team could play with anybody.  They've got a lot of Srs on the team. I hope that Coach Patterson doesn't leave for more money.   Congrats. to the Frogs for their perfect season(13-0) this year.

Enjoyed watchin’ Al Toon’s young’n play. He’s a warrior like his daddy. Does remind ya of how old ya are tho….

Mornin’.

Fog/Mist ‘n 60°. Today: Scattered showers. Cloudy, with a high near 61. Northwest wind between 7 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. Tonight: Scattered showers before 10pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 31. North wind between 10 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

I’ll take it ‘n grin.

Thought I may have screwed up on the peas. Thought they were right good but didn’t think the fat lady was gonna agree. She don’t like dark turkey meat ‘n she ain’t real keen on heat. They had both. But she put a full, decent sized bowl in front of ‘er ‘n ate every one. Said they were good. Guess I got away with it.

Geezzzzzzzzzzzz……………

Fat lady went in for lab werk this mornin’. Come back with the news one of the vampires died.

Former USN corpsman. Screwed his back up, I know that feelin’, ‘n had ta retire. Big fella, rough as a cob. When my blood gases went nuts ‘n I wanted ‘em ta put a spigot in an arm cause they were drawin’ blood so often he took care of my sorry rear end. Passed out one mornin’ when someone else was doin’ it ‘n when I woke up he had one big hand holdin’ me in the chair the other holdin’ an ammonia capsule under my nose. Saw I was awake ‘n said ‘hold this’. Went ‘n got me a bottle of orange juice. Wouldn’t let me leave ‘til he was sure I was ok ta drive. Tolt me never to come back dehydrated again. ‘I knew ya were gonna zonk as soon as I saw ya.’

Rest well, Sean. He was 47.

May he rest in peace Arcey.  I've had the pleasure of knowing four of them guys, got a lot of respect for them.  Gopher Grease was one and my current camp helper Salt Crick Rick is also.  You don't get dehydrated around them, there is hell to pay, they are used to dealing with Marines that do that.

Bathroom flooded in the middle of the night.  Contractor came an we can't figgure out what happened.  Checked all the plumbin an it was dry but the insulation was soaked.  Terlit flushes fine an the shower drains.  Thinkin the rain may have played a part in it all.  Ol' Ron is a good man and he want it sorted out right now.  Best landlord I've had in years, he gives a da*n.

We had another cold, dreary day. We finished off the New Year's snacks today.  The Cowboys slid by and won their last game of the season. It looks like the Cowboys and the Skins wound up with identical records. The Frogs came home to a big crowd on Campus today. The Rose Bowl win should help with the recuiting for next year.

Morning y'all.
Coffee is hot.

The Pack got in. They play the Eagles on Sunday.

'Tis 14 and flurries. "Cloudy. Scattered snow showers diminishing to flurries this morning...then a chance of light snow again during the middle to late afternoon. Highs 21 to 26. Light and variable wind."

I got back from vacation Saturday and wanted to log in to wish everyone a happy new year!

Got the year started off alright by watching True Grit yesterday.  Was right pleased and now can't wait for the DVD.
