Bet you wish you was back in IA Arcey.  That stuff used to happen in the military before the regulations got tightened up.  It's just sad, my thoughts to his family.

Not this one. No. I don’t want any part of it.

Been snowing here all day, it looks like we got about 3 inches of fresh stuff on the street outside my window. Cold, but not windy, yet.

Yeah, we're gettin' the stuff you sent, problem that scares me is none of them can even argree on how long it will last and how much.  Those are the ones we get it bad from.

Forgot to ask you Stu, from the thread on the straw bale church, you know anyone up in Aurthor County, I'm looking for a lost town or rather a Post Office, would like some Long and Lad on it if I could or township and section numbers.  Was around on a map as late as 1933, Carman Post Office, can't come up with anything, was started by some distant relative.

Don't know anyone who lives there, but i drive through there a few times a year.  Don't know why, but the name kinda rings a bell for me, maybe there's a sign or something...
I'll ask around & see what I can dig up.

I get folks at work once in a while from out there, I ask, but no luck so far, I think I've asked a fourth of the folks from there. Grin Grin

(Arthur County is 718 square miles and had 444 people in 2000, for those who don't know.)  I hear that kid up there in town (note town, there's only one) is a danged good hatter.  I figure if I can get close to the site I can find in on a B&W saddle-lite like that town up in Cedar County I found for Buck a few years back, bet the spot is still pasture..  One can find stuff like that in prairie.

I heard excuses the other day that makes me think they are going to try to use the outgoing City Manager as a scapegoat on this one. This might be the final nail in the Chief's coffin, I hear that Council is getting antsy about the bad publicity.

The nasty stuff is headed this way. We should have freezing rain/sleet by tomorrow afternoon. I just don't want any snow. We always have our bad weather during the Stock Show in Fort Worth. It started last Friday and lasts thru Feb. 5.

It is. We'll teach him ta shoot with either hand.

'Tis -2 and overcast. "Partly sunny in the morning...then cloudy with scattered snow showers in the afternoon. Highs 10 to 14. West wind 10 to 15 mph. Wind chills to 20 below zero."

Cawfee up.  0430 mornin so breakfast is light.

Slim, try doing an eye dominance test on the boy, it might just turn out the other arm is the one he's sposed ta be usin.  A lot of guys in the Corps get a big surprise when they are tolt they are using the wrong arm while in basic.

Can't see the sky yet, but it didn't freeze, prolly means it's cloudy.

It's been drizzling since about 0400 this morning. The Cawfee is strong. Sausage Bisquits for breakfast again, some sorgum to go on the bisquits. The rain is supposed to start freezing this afternoon and turn to sleet by tonight.
