Guess I better get going, I don't run very fast Shocked Roll Eyes

Leo, did you ever find the source of that hum/buzz? You can add Selmer horns to the list of they don't make'em anymore. As of 1-1-11, the French side of Selmer discontinued assembly of brass instruments. prices on the original Olds horns, at least from the Specials on up through the Super Recordings continue to rise Roll Eyes Shocked

Buck, I realized that the power strip I was plugged into had the ground prong removed.  I'm going to start there and if it still does it I'm going to pull the main plate of the back and check all the connections.  The pots are a little scratchy so I might be in for a little more work and $$$.  It pays to buy quality components for these things.  I can't believe Selmer is gone.  Most of the rentals the other kids used in band were Selmers.

That's the French Selmer, Leo. Not sure what Conn-Selmer is going to do( American side). The shut down affects sax's, the Selmer TT trumpets, and a few other pro-grade trumpets they made, and probably the brass woodwinds( flutes, picc's). The fella that ran the Olds operation during the glory years is in business for himself( Zig Kanstul), and is making some really good horns in California yet................Buck Cool

It's happened, Rita has took the dive off the edge, I'm going to stop on the way to work and see if I can find a straight jacket that fits.

Just knocked over some papers on the desk, on one written in magic marker it says:

If you can under stand this copy and paste to you.

I'm going to slip it on her and tie the arms before I ask. Grin

Bet you wish you was back in IA Arcey.  That stuff used to happen in the military before the regulations got tightened up.  It's just sad, my thoughts to his family.
