Just back from the State owned range, took my squirrel rifle down there to try a Heathen load.  Wind picked up and Killer and I headed back. Still got some trigger time in so it has eased the twitching and convulsion like behaviors.

Scroll past this boys. Slim, I’ll try to keep it within bounds but I AM PISSED!

The pieces of radio manure that call themselves ‘news/talk’ broke for a damned VT basketball game just as their national affiliate was breaking in for news. There are two stations here. Both owned by the same clown. He used to do an ‘Ask the Owner’ show but he quit because he couldn’t take the heat. Fired the only local host with the balls to go after city hall. He admitted the VT broadcasts had low ratings and they couldn’t sell much ad time for it but the booster club made up the difference. Screw what the regular listeners want, huh, Bob?

The village idiot in the mornin’. Touts himself as a history buff. Talked of the Japanese sinkin’ our battleships and aircraft carriers at Pearl. Stood not ten feet from me with his mouth hangin’ open at Talk-Fest a few years ago when Boortz was live on stage callin’ ‘im a bed wettin’, booger eatin’ liberal durin' a national broadcast. No attempt to approach the stage until Boortz was gone. I could say much more about the coward.

His ditzy blonde sidekick, she recently decided to hyphenate her last name, reads the news, verbatim, from the Pilot. And just giggles herself silly over his lame attempts at humor.

An audience of over a million and this is the best we can do? Sick. WNIS 'n WTAR what a sad, sad pair.

Rant over – for now.

Apparently Ms. Gifford is still alive however a Federal judge Roll has died.

Fox's Shepard Smith and the JA at CNN are running out of facts now so they are making crap up as they go.

The paper was gettin’ theirs from NPR ‘n CNN. They’ve picked up the AP piece now. I’m not gonna knock ‘em, they weren’t there. All they could do was pass along what they had.

The friggin’ ‘news/talk’ radio didn’t even try.

With the Pilot any semi-auto is an AK-47. Whole time I was werkin’ I never saw an AK-47 ‘cept at gun shows. Saw SKS knock offs many times. They reported an AK-47 was used in the interstate shootout in Chesapeake year ‘fore last. It weren’t. Still shot up a Chesapeake cop. He lived.

When I was goin’ thru various sources, witnesses were sayin’ they heard 15 to 20 shots. Witnesses of events are often wrong. Things happen too fast ‘n usually over before they realize what has happened. If full autos were used they wouldn’t have recognized the sound. One doesn’t hear individual FA shots. Y’all military vets, thank you for your service, know that.

Ain’t sayin’ it weren’t, I weren’t there. Will say I doubt it.

News media should only be allowed to use the word gun and nothing more unless they can pass a fire arms test.  I'm tired of 12 caliber shotguns a .9 mm pistols in the news.

We had one a few years ago was interesting, I respect most law enforcement officers, but we have or had some detective on the force here I wonder about.  Was investigating a "drive by shooting" lots of small holes in the side of someone's garage,  gauge wad in the yard.  He figured out it was a shotgun, but the rest confused him.  I was at the gun shop when Quenton answered the phone.  Seems the boy dug out some of the shot from the siding, confused him because it was real hard, he couldn't mash it with a pair of pliers.  Guess someone thought the garage was a duck.

Why, in the name of hell, would someone destroy a hunk of evidence with a pair of pliers? I didn’t work in Forensics long ‘n I hated it. But even I know if establishin’ constructive material is necessary ya do it by weight and/or specific gravity.
