I bought an 8 qt slow cooker at Bass Pro Shops. I plan on doing some pork butt and pot roast.  I'm going to the SASS Convention this year, so next week I am planning on cooking up some stuff in the slow cooker. I haven't fixed anything in a cooker lately. I'm gonna practice up before Moose gets out for Christmas.

The Pilot didn’t forget.

http://hamptonroads.com/2010/12/pearl-harbor-hampton-roads-memories-and-mementoes?cid=srch

But they’re Norfolk based. Norfolk is home to the world’s largest naval base. Ships based here were there. Ships built in Newport News, just across the river, were there. Arizona once steamed right past the park benches on the Elizabeth where I’ve sat ‘n eaten many a lunch. The same waterway the CSN Virginia sailed.  The water Wisconsin rests in today.

May God bless and hold those present on that day. No more or I’ll go on a rant. Hits close to home.

Being there is something to remember.  Our tour was led by a survivor and he cried during the slide show at the end.  I was just a kid but I talked to him and he said, "Don't worry son, I do it every day three times a day".  You don't forget those things.

No idea what to cook tonight.

My wife had a cousin in the Navy that was on the Arizona when it went down. We visited the Memorial in 1995, when we went for a vacation. There were many Japanese on  the tour with us that day.  I'll put the Cawfee on to boil right now for the night hawks.

At least you aint wearin yer pants below your knees.  Saw a feature about a highschool teacher implemented a program of yankin up the little snot's drawers an making the kids look like Erkle.  They is all startin ta dress right now.  Said first week he wedgied 200 kids and last week it was down ta 13.  Funny thing is aint no parents complained so far.

Got me a brand new bottle of Bullseye original, a bottle of Tabasco ‘n three real pretty drumsticks. Ahhhhhhhh – tomorrow. Next step is doin’ a bone-in in the stuff. Fat lady has already turned thumbs down on dark meat. Maybe she’ll try it in white.
