After owning and selling an Old Army, 2 Old Model and 2 New Model Vaqueros I swore I would never
buy a Ruger again Too bug Too heavy Too Clunky and never felt good in my hands. Welllllll I handled
a stainless single six with birdshead grip in .32. Wow it really felt good in my hand Sooo after doing
some research I purchased a pair that are distributed by Davidsons. Let my grandson shoot them
and I will have to share them with him. I did a little comparison and the frames are comparitable to
my Pietta 1851 Navies that is why they feel so good. What a perfect platform for Ruger to make
a .36 cap and ball to replace the Old Army. I loaded some 95 grain lead bullets with bullseye and that
makes a nice shooting pistol. I think I will keep these.
