what a find

found 8 inch..12 inch..16 inch high side skillets and 10 inch dutch oven with lids in a pile behind old barn full of rust have no idea how longh been in weather ..my problem is how to get rust off...tried scrubbing does not work...any help would be great...

To start with try Coca-Cola and some real coarse steel wool.  If that don't work see if someone soda blasts in the area.

Doc, If you have a radiator repair shop in your area that has a cleaning vat, it will clean that cast iron like new. We did that for folks and people that had restaurants when I was a kid.
