Hi,
The first time I saw this was possibly the first time they performed together ... I just know that when they did this on Austin City Limits, it raised the hackles on my neck ... and I got a little 'verklempt' ... So Rick, this is for you especially and for anyone else who likes Willie and Ray ....

Rick,
Only Warren Zevon could make you feel sorry for this fella ... but I think it is one of my favorite cry-in your-beer songs ....

Nope I haven't ... but since we are dealing in a lot of RIPs, here's Levon Helm:

That's Waylon Jennings,he just had his toes amputated becuase of diabeties, also had some heart trouble. The night i saw them he was real tired and got right on his bus as did Johnny, the Willy and Kris went out and talked to us ,kissed the girls and the babies, took pics and such, they were runnin cover for Waylon and Cash, the next thing we heard was engines starting and johnnies bus took off followed by Waylon as Willie and Kris stayed. From what i could see Waylon was havin trouble breathing. He passed away a few years later.I believe it was gang green from the diebeties.
