Last year sometime we were talkin’ 9mms. ‘Bout the same time one of the guys won a firefight on Bank St. This is the officer.

Not much ta say for Decker. Just awful sad.

I know Ford. Been on many scenes with him. Never cared for the boy. Far as I was concerned he was a jerk. That said I never suspected this. Then again, maybe the prosecution put on a more convincin’ dog ‘n pony show for the jury than the defense did ‘n he ain’t guilty, only convicted. I dunno. Sad o’er that too.

Just glanced up at my badge. In a plaque hangin’ on the wall these days. It’s clean. I’ll just mind my own business ‘n move on. Ain’t my police department anymore, anyway.
