50th Gala Anniversary & Fandango
« on: September 15, 2010, 03:07:56 PM »
Yes, I was born in Florida,  but I'm a Honorary Texas Citizen by Gubernatorial decree signed by Governor Clements.

To the point... is anyone going to the 50th Anniversary Gala World Premiere of John Wayne's "ALAMO" ?
This is a big fandango on the 9th. of Oct. - Banquet , screening on the IMAX screen etc.... dress is Alamo elegant ( Budaraha's)

I was the Production Designer on the IMAX "Alamo the Price of Freedom" and had a cameo part see my avatar.

Sadly Movie Extras rarely get the invites  :o :o Sorry Dr. Bob....
Major,
You may have worked with some of my family on past projects within the last 10 yrs or so. I am "estranged" from this bunch as of late, was probably keepin' their ranch runnin' while these folks were on location in Texas filming. Can't pick who you are related to.... :-[ :-[ Movin' on Livestock out of Cali. Love 'em or hate 'em  :P Held a SAG card a few years myself, my great grandfather used to say.. one day your are eatin' chicken, next week you're eatin' feathers........Lilley's are still on my great grandfather's homestead, tho I'm related to the maternal side. Had a belly full of crap & hightailed for the high country.  Bet we could swap a story or 2  ;D
Glad to hear you are being honored you earned it  :) :)
