Reminds me of films we watched in school, since this was made in the same time period, no wonder.

Interesting, don't agree with everything in it. Also notice they said use the proper grind, but didn't say anything about the types and quality of the coffee.

Thanks Del. Most interesting. What I still don't get is they call for one scoop of coffee per cup. The "basket" of most 12 cup auto coffee makers can't hold that much. If they can, it easily overflows the filter and you get a heap of grounds in the pot. I been using one scoop for every 2 cups and it's plenty strong enough. For 10 cups, I use 4 scoops of a good decaf and one scoop of chicory coffee from Cafe du Monde. Now, if I should decide to make 12 cups, I'll use the extra scoop, but it will overflow the filter. So, what's the solution?

You fellas can tease all you want, but y'all still haven't answered my question.
Just so happens I have a tempermental gall bladder and even one cup of "real" coffee can agravate it something awful.
We do have good decaf Kona coffee blends out here. I guess y'all don't.

Pard you should know me by now, I don't mesure anything, just when it looks right.

Ha! You're right, Del. I shoulda known better.
These days, nothing looks "right" to these old eyes. Gotta depend on things that can do the measuring for me.
