Mornin' pards. Thanks for the coffee, Slim.

Majer, state championships are a whole lot of fun. 6 stages followed by 4 is very workable. It's nice to have a lighter load the second day. Have a great time. Knock 'em down.

Howdy, pards. Thanks for the coffee, LR. Yeah, it's a little late in the day, but it's Friday. Thanks for the cup. Cool

We're looking at cloudy all weekend. That's fine, we're planning to take the dogs to Ft Ord (now closed down but open to hikers) to run with the rabbits.

Yes they were ,lR. In German, dachshund means badger dog. bred to go down in the holes and drag them out. that's why the short fronts, powerful claws. The thick based tails are for dragging the dog back out of the hole. the smooth coat doesn't retain dirt and brambles, the other two coats are later breeding, more as pets( wire haired, long coat). The two we have here play pretty rough with each other( females, yet). We've got a smooth and a long coat that are half sisters about aweek and a half apart litter wise...............Buck Roll Eyes Cool

Howdy, pards. Been busy with important stuff today (leatherwork, reloading, preparing for the match next week). No sun yet, but it might peek out a little later although not for long.

Buck, I love those Dachshunds. If I didn't have the ones I have, it would be a consideration. They have a genuine sense of humor and will laugh at something they consider funny. Mine will smile but not laugh. It's OK, though, we don't have many people come creeping around. I tell strangers that the really do like people, they just haven't eaten any for a week. Grin

I'm back. Had a great time at the shoot. I won the Long Range Black Powder Lever rifle side match(That's a mouthful) I ended up 11th in my category and 54th overall out of 280 shooters. Had 2 misses for the match with 8 clean stages. May post some photos as I upload them.
