And it's gonna be another one of those days, guy in a Tommy Heff-fingers T-Shirt wanted to know if his 357 magnum will fit in any of these holsters.  I should go over to NAPA, find a water pump and ask them if it will fit my pick-up.   Roll Eyes

He finally decided it was a Taurus and the cylinder swung out. Roll Eyes

Thanks, Will, wasn't one of my better outings, but still went over well. Sound's there, but the range is still iffy. Just don't get enough practice time. People were still appreciative, though...........Buck Roll Eyes Cool

Currently 70 and sunny here. Last night we had to shave the big cat down, had some really huge knots in that coat of his. They were pulling his skin up. Probably very uncomfortable for him. Bet we had five pounds of fur off him by the time we were done. He actually took it pretty well. None of us got bit, or shreded..............Buck Roll Eyes

Well unless something happens real soon I'd say the film will be boring.

Anybody need a City Council, the one we have ain't real bright:

http://www.1011now.com/news/headlines/102875824.html

Bars can stay open until 2:00 a.m. this weekend in Lincoln, but according city law, playing keno and dancing is only legal until 1:00 a.m.

During the Tuesday's morning media briefing, Lincoln Police Chief Tom Casady said in the effort to get the later bar closing time passed, other ordinances were not looked over thoroughly enough. Casady said an amendment will be made to make the dancing and keno ordinances consistent with the new closing time for bars. He said that will be done in the next few weeks. Casady said his officers will not arrest people for dancing or playing keno past 1:00 a.m.

Casady does say his office is prepared for the new 2:00 a.m. closing time.

"We have already changed the work schedules for some of our downtown officers so instead of getting off at 2:00 in the morning, they would be getting off at 3:00 in the morning," Casady said.

The Chief also said he expects the peak hours during bar break will simply move forward one hour this weekend. Right now, the busy time for officers is Saturday and Sunday between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.

"And that bar break hour will move, and I think that peak will move along with it and we will simply see that peak between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday morning instead of between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m.," Casady said.

Del, They won't have to worry about me staying out till 2 or 3 am anymore. I have trouble making it until the 10pm News. I don't know how to play Keno anyway.

Keno is a fool’s game. Watch the pretty wheel spin. Blackjack is ruined with dealin’ from multiple decks. Shoot craps or sit at a Roulette wheel if ya wanna chance on the house. Or play poker against others ‘n give the house a cut of the winnin’s.

Dives close at two. The boys sufferin’ six-pack hornies ain’t leavin’ the parkin’ lots ‘til three when the bar-hogs get off. They’re gonna run inta sober cops at the end of a shift. They’re human. They’re tired ‘n they wanna go home. That’s when a mouthy drunk gets hurt ‘n a cop gets in trouble for kickin’ an ass that needed kickin’. ‘N ends up in OT.

Been there. The shifts need to be split. Some workin’ 1900 to 0300. Others workin’ 2400 to 0800. Nothin’ as much fun as gettin’ home at 0400 then havin’ to be in court at 0900. Back in roll call at 1900.

Then again, what do I know? I was an ass kicker with a dog ‘n later an IA XO pickin’ apart what guys did in a split second.

Them imported chiefs who’ve never been a street cop know better’n me. I reckon.
