The match was good.  Big, close targets and easy stages.  Good fun. Hats off to Spur Roberts for winning FC.

Met an awful lot of good folks.  Everyone seemed to have a good time.

EOT is moving to outside Alberquerque, NM for next year. That's a much longer drive for me.  About 17 hours.  Not sure if I'll make it.  But I understand the move is a done deal.

Anyway, had a great time.

Will, I didn't shoot well.  I had a few stages that I shot real well, 1-4 and 7.  The others just didn't go well.  Ah well.  There's next year!  However, I learned an awful lot that I can start to apply now.  I'll fair much better next time.

Congrats again to the category winners!  There are no "easy categories."  Every one has stiff competition.  There's a lot of pressure to perform, and they handled it admirably.

Doc,

Sorry to hear that.. You have a great attitude about it and I'm sure you'll be shooting great guns in no time.

Was the EOT experience part of your performance or was it just not your day?
Adios amigo,

Hext, I think it was the whole thing.  It was rather overwhelming!  A hugh amount of vendors, the heat, the dust, all the people!  So many friendly folks it was really amazing.  You just have to see it to believe it.  I don't think that the atmosphere can be caught on tape.

I got to watch a bunch of the top shooters too.  Even got several on tape.  Some of the stage runs are going to show up on my web site, including Lead Dispencers 21 second run on stage 6, and that's AFTER a miss!  I wish I had recorded his 11 second run on stage 7, WOW!

Good folks on my posse too.  Chili Pepper Pete, Gunzilla, Tex, Brandy-Ann Kash and more than I can possibly mention.

I had a great time, learned a ton, and hope I can make it again next year.

I've found a similar response in myself when you go to the big time..
I might be able to get to an EOT in New Mexico, so who knows, gotta make some dough and get the kid ready to go.

Glad you had a good time and made it back safe.

Thanks Doc for the update--sounds like a great time was had by all. Although it's a long haul to EOT for me, New Mexico is more likely to be doing for me.

Look forward to seeing the clips on your web site. :)
