It was a old "Rosenstein" Kansas tool, made in 1885 - 1895.
I collect old leather tools since 17 years also to make the period correct reproductions. Otherwise it is not possible to do that.

Hey Folks
Today we had a specil thing for special guy. Leather collars.
These collars where use by cowboys and genteleman between 1895 and 1915.
Most of them where made by Gopher Brand Saddlery, R.T. Frazier, and C.P Shipley.
I post some originals out of my collection, and some of my repros. If anybody wants to have more infos please let me know.

Have a great day

Holy cow Andy, Those all look great.
Any chance you can take a pic of the collars unfolded? I am interested in making myself a few of those, and would like to see the general build of them.

You should make a pattern pack of some of this stuff. Very different, and beautiful too.

Hey Folks

Another pair of simple, classic Cuffs.
The originals where made by J.S. Collins, Cheyenne, Wyo. between 1890 and 1900
They where lined with a thin calfleather, only the wrist part was lined.

Have a great day
Andy
