Lone Star Rifle Company
« on: July 27, 2010, 11:11:30 AM »
Anybody heard of Lone Star Rifle Company?
There chief product is the Remington Rolling Block and I wonder if anyone here owns one. How are they in terms of quality?
A work in progress.

I would rather have a rifle form David Higinbotham of Lonestar than one of Remington's recent Rollers, JMO.    Adios  Sgt. Jake

An old friend of mine, the late Perry Wilson aka SGT Jack, had a 44-77 Sharps and it was awesome.

Here's a couple of modern Roller repros...

The plain "Buffalo Rifle" No 1. Sporter on the top is a Lonestar.  ;)
