Cased pair of engraved Colt Root pistols, 5th variation with 4½-inch round barrels and fluted cylinders. This pair of nicely scroll engraved pistols has checkered ivory grips and are cased in a partition style case with a Peacock flask, mold and caps. These guns were formerly in the William Locke collection and are pictured in the Locke book on page 118.

I have seen some single actions that had hammers modified like these pistols. Hammers raised to allow fanning the firearm.
I never have seen a fanned pistol hit anything yet.
That is a good looking flask and I like it. It would be nice to have one with a larger capacity for larger caliber firearms.
Thanks again Steve...

A while back on Impossible Shots, Cisco proved it can be done.
He hit everything----------with live ammo and in a hurry!!
Yes it can be done.
