Here's one I just finished. Forged from 1 inch square with carbon steel forge welded in for the cutting edge. Filed mouldings and chevron and little hand engraving. Handmade white ash handle with pour in place pewter wedding bands and mouth piece. Brass end cap and antler for a clean out plug.

How the heck to you get the bowl shape??I swear i'm gonna take my video camera and go around to all the makers of things and make a new show! Beats watchin swamp loggers..Gonna have to ad a pipe to my collection someday~~

Rick, I chuck that whole thing in the lathe and turn the bowl to rough shape. From there it is a whole lota filing.

That's awsome and hard work you do!If i had the duckets that would be mine.
I found that old roofers ax when i was workin for the county,there was an old table drill in the shop and i drilled the hole in it,then painted some stuff on it.I cheated,you created..
